Has anyone taken an Anderson hitch to the scales and see if it is sending the weight back to the trailer axels? With it pulling forward and not down
on the frame of the TT I wonder if it matches the amount the bars weight transfer back to the trailer.
The friction anti sway is a new way to integrate the old friction bars. Friction has a nasty habit of causing issues on slick surfaces of locking the truck and trailer
together and not being able to turn if the tire traction can't break the friction. The old friction bars had a warning about that printed right on them.
Anderson also has some maintenance on the friction insert, looks simple though if you have a good sized hammer to get it apart.

I have an Anderson and it works great. They have a great warranty, mine was very old and I sent the head in to be rebuilt and they sent me a brand new in the newest design for free.
It does stop sway and it's very easy to take on and off and store.

I replaced the standard type distribution hitch with added friction sway control with the Anderson system. No complaints, also quiet when turning so no more moans and groans from the friction style. Much easier on my back to install/remove. My RV is a Jayco toy hauler, 24' and empty is about 7,000#'s.
