Not bad, I just pulled a 2 mile 6% this week, only had about 7500 with the GN loaded with Hay for a Trainer. My 5.0 was running 3 to 3500 up hill and was accelerating so I had to back off for slower traffic. The 2.7 does seem to pull well but did still downshift a bit seems very comparable to a 5.0 in how it pulls. My truck only has 3.55s so my speed was a bit higher at similar rpms.

Any sort of tune or is this a stock truck?

OP, I can't tell from the video, but do you have a boost gauge and can you give an idea of what the typical boost level was?
I have an XLT, so no boost gauge. I added an Ultra Gauge blue and have boost showing on an extra Android phone. Makes it nice, I also display MPG on the same screen and can definitely see the connection of how much air is being pushed and MPG.
