Default Tablet and phone different.

An interesting take on this site when viewed on my tablet and my phone. Both open at the same time and fully refreshed, yet very different.
Not an issue at all, just found that interesting.
I'm a hardware guy, not software. So maybe I'm naive with how the program is processed on the two different formats.

Tablet uses the full web site and your phone is using the mobile app...

You can set the phone to request the full site, I do it that way all the time. Phone app just doesn't give enough content, at least not in the way I'm used to.

it's called a css media rule, if that matters...
if (device=tablet & screen size = xxx) => show full site
if (device=phone & screen size = yyy) => show mobile site

yeah i've got too much time on my hands...
