I have the app on my iPhone, but now want to add it to my iPad. I have tried in vain to find the app in the store. I've tried GT, garage talk, garagetalk, GT garage talk, F150, etc, etc. I don't get anything.

I can't remember how I found it when I added it to my iPhone, Thanks

We no longer support the Garage Talk app.

On your iPhone, just log on this site through your browser as you would on a PC.

On the iPhone, you have the choice of two-versions offered. The Mobile Three or the Classic Next Gen 3.0.

The Mobile Three is the mobile version we now use. It should come up by default on the iPhone.

The Classic version is the desktop version You can choose View Full Site to select it on the drop down menu on the iPhone.



On the iPad, you can only view in the desktop version. There is no mobile version for the iPad. You log on from your browser, same as you would on your PC.

I'm on my iPad here an average of four-hours, daily. The iPad version operates almost identically to the desktop version on my PC and it works great.

@IB Jose , Joseph, you may can explain this better than I can but this is the way I understand it.

Thanks, my iPhone still works with the GT app, so I'll leave that alone since there are other forums I follow on that.

I'll use the website for the iPad, I don't use a desktop or laptop since I retired.

All of the sites on Garage Talk have (mostly) fully developed mobile sites as well, as they're all our websites.

As stated, you CAN use the GT app but you'll likely experience some functionality issues. Garage Talk as a whole is largely outdated and unsupported by just about every website (not all) that used it. If you use the mobile browser on any of the sites you use on the GT app, other than the way you access them (going to your mobile browser vs. going to the GT app), you'd be hard pressed to recognize any differences in the way the sites are laid out or appear. It looks almost identical, better on the mobile site if I'm honest.

In fact, you can try it for yourself.

In your Safari Browser, go to F150forum.com and log in. Click the little box with the upward arrow and click "save to home screen". Now you have a quick access icon on your phones main screen with all your other apps. You can do this with literally any website and never have to worry about having an app that you have to update.

I'll take a screenshot from my own phone and update it on here when I get it.
