WVMoose XLT Build/Mod Thread

@WVMoose Hey Mark, could you refresh my memory on that spring compressor you bought? Brand, etc. IIRC, you could use it with the struts still mounted on the truck? I have to do some work on my Jeep, and something like that one could be pretty handy.
Like what you're doing, too bad about the Fox though. Anxious to hear how the Kings compare to the Fox 2.0s.

@WVMoose Not trying to derail, but did you ever consider the Ford Performance Bilstein kit? I remember reading about the differences of the finishes between Fox, Bilstein, etc... and the 5100's corroding and rusting pretty quick, but couldn't remember if that Ford kit was ever in the running.
only Bilsteins I’d consider are the 8112 because those are serviceable. But honestly, I was so happy with the Fox, had no reason to try anything else. Icons were on the short list but they are described as a former ride like Bilstein and seem to share the same rust/corrosion issue.
the videos I’ve seen comparing Fox 2.5 and Kings seem to imply the Kings are a little softer.
so far, the Fox 2.5s are a nicer overall ride then the 2.0’s…they are a touch firmer but the positives outweigh the negative of a slightly firmer ride.
if I was going from stock to Fox 2.5, with the driving I do, I think it’s worth the cost. Going from Fox 2.0 to 2.5 is worth it to me, but not worth the cost going from stock to 2.0, then 2.0 to 2.5, lol.
really excited to try the Kings

I think Bilstein Ford Performance is only for 14th gens?

Last time I got into any suspension tweaking was on my '03 Ranger that I converted from T-bars to coilovers using Fox shocks and Eibach springs. So I'm definitely taking notes, haha.

So I decided I wanted a tad bit more rear lift. Found the motofab rear block.
description states it replaces the rear stock block and will give a 4x4 roughly 1/2 inch more lift, which is perfect.
however, the instructions on the website and that came with the blocks state to stack it on top the stock block, tapered end toward the front, and will give me an extra 2 inches. Hoping the description is correct and it replaces, I emailed motofab.
anyone have the torque value for the U bolts? I think there’s a pattern and multiple torque steps?

Dielectrically 5w30
On the 12th gen, there is a torque sequence as well as i think 3 stages of tightening.
