Wolf Build
So I work at a ford dealer and I had the guys in the shop check it out today. The guy that did thinks the wheel noise is that the vacuum line was pinched and the 4wheel is basically always on. Not a big fix. What he doesn't get is the brake shuddering and wheel popping. He said it could be the axle angle with the blocks but he doesn't know. He said bring it by Monday and one of the more experienced guys will have a look.
Problem is the axle angle might not be something I can fix. The vacuum will fix the noise, the brake shuddering and wheel popping we have no idea. Hopefully Monday brings good news. I seem to always have bad luck with these mods.
I called 4wheel who installed and they were apologetic and said they'd like to do whatever they can and keep them posted with the dealer.
Fingers crossed.

well there a little reassurance at least. I'd be willing to bet it has something to to with the rear blocks. All keep my fingers crossed for u too wolf! Sucks having truck problems!
What is it u do at the ford dealer?

I'm just a service advisor for quick lane, starting at the bottom. Sales next winter, after than something higher
Sucks to hear that. Hope it all works out with the 5100's, and hopefully you won't have to go back to stock after spending that much money. It's a shocking reminder why I'm staying stock suspension wise. I had much of the same headaches as you when I leveled my old truck. Made my steering knock worse, then a strut noise emerged that I couldn't seem to fix. Lots of grief.

Problem is I love the look. And I want bigger tires so this is necessary.
Option 1: get this worked out and fixed
Option 2: get a refund and get spacers instead. But I'm not sure if this will keep the stock ride or make it rougher. I don't know enough about spacers at the moment.
Option 3: see if the shop who has been very apologetic will take back the bilsteins and replace them with Fox's for a small price increase. Fox's all around are like 2k and the 5100's are like 1. I'd pay half to upgrade to fox but I doubt they'd do that.
I'm leaning towards going back to stock then doing spacers granted the ride stays like stock. This would also be cheaper so I'd have some money for another mod....
Anyone know anything about spacers?
Spacers won't ruin the ride. Tires will. I loathed the way my 2011 rode after the larger, heavier tires. With the Rancho front struts on with the stock tires, the ride was dreamy. Once I put the new tires on, all hell broke loose. (No, that was the rear end that broke loose all the time over bumps
)

)Would you say Rancho struts would be better than bilsteins?
Rancho offers adjustable ride, not adjustable height. Never driven a truck with Bilsteins, so I can't compare. I can say that even with Rancho front and rear shocks set at 3-ish, my 33" 10 ply tires still kicked the crap out of me.
Are u sure it isn't the steering rack? Seeing issues of that on the 2013 and it sounds like the clunking and vibration in the steering wheel u are talking about. Look up some of them on u tube. Can't imagine it's the bilsteins. Just watched a bunch if videos of ppl recording there trucks doing the same.
