No HID for me. I hated the cut-off when I retrofitted my 2007 housings.

Not worried about blinding people? I don't really care either, but I don't want people flashing their brights at me. Plus the projectors look great in these headlights.

Where do you get the black housings with clear reflectors?

Also, the LEDs I have give a nice cutoff & have only been flashed once while towing.

Here are leds in my stock headlights. If you want to argue leds and glare, take it somewhere else, not my build thread. I have been running these since day one, 3 months and zero people have flashed me.

I for one applaud you. The stock halogens are shockingly bad; driving at night is worse than it was on my '11 Explorer (HID projectors), '15 C300s with both high end HIDs and base level projectors, even my '08 Jetta City provided better and farther coverage. Using fogs improves light levels but only within the existing low beam range.

Modded heads have never bothered me, whether ones that fit the original installation well or super-blue awkward ricer heads (although definitely raises eyebrows). The real offenders are the egotistic *******s who think that high beams are acceptable in dense urban areas or a very busy highway, continuously blinding me in all three mirrors at once with the high beams. Chances are more than a few of them are members of the anti-LED posse as well.

I guess putting any sort of bulb other than stock in stock housings is illegal in pretty much all jurisdictions but the popo never have the time nor the resources to enforce it. It might be different with the state trooper boys but no one cares up here.

I appreciate that. Our headlights have a bulb cap or hood if you will and couple that with a quality LED you will get a nice crisp cut-off as my picture shows. Then have the decency to aim them properly and you will not bother other drivers. I had LED's in my 07 for over 2 years, and NEVER got flashed. If even one single driver were to flash me, I would adjust them down, but that has never happened.

You did put LED on oem halogen reflectors?
I understand you are happy with it.
Could it be possible to have the parts numbers and/or link to what is needed for the low/high beam and fog light.
If also you have some in the rear would be appreciated.

Thanks

Yes, the picture I just posted is LED H11's in my low beams. I have not found a 9005 for my high beams that is worth a dang. So I am installing Philips HIR1 9011 in them and trimming the tab on the base to fit. I installed LED 9005's in my fog housings and they are perfect. Here are the links"
