Makes sense.
My version of secure idle is locking the cab with the B-pillar keypad.
Then again, there's the ignition key sitting there in plain view... engine running...
Thanks for the explanation, Firerunner.

back in the day (14 years ago) I had an aftermarket alarm/remote start on a car. I was able to leave it running by activating the remote start and removing the key, then locking and walking away (like to go into a store), and because the key was out, it couldn't be driven away, pressing the brake pedal would shut it off.

Also, Summers, you're not even gonna post that you bought a tuner? lol

I did get my Bilsteins installed and since I did it with only my 5 year old here, he wasn't to crazy about a test drive......so I will have to report back on any difference I feel, which had better be a much better feeling ride!!!! Wont be tomorrow though, as I am taking my wifes Explorer to work, then in to Discount Tire for some new Michelins before winter hits. Those Hankooks suck in the rain.

Eek, that's not good hearing about the Handcacas! I was going to run them through the winter. Maybe not.
