Side note, driving home today a guy mowing his grass threw a rock into my driver door. I stopped and told the man, then his wife came out being a real bitch saying I was a liar, so I called our county police. He denied it and well, the police said since he had no "intent" there was nothing they could do, what BS. I take it in next week to be repaired on my dime. They will try PDR and a little touch up paint for $50 (certified bodyshop in my little town) or they said pull the dent and repaint the door. I am not paying for that, so hope they get it with the PDR and touch up. He told me they are swamped and if I could pull the door panel he would cut me a deal.

Wow, what a piece of work those two. Whenever I see someone mowing, first thing I do is see which way the chute is pointing. Been lucky so far, and the guy on the mower. They wouldn't like me too much.

And obviously blowing everything onto the road. Total lack of thought.

That sucks Jon. I always worry about that when I see someone mowing by the side of the road. Pretty rural here with lots of gravel roads. Lots of that gravel winds up on lawns and it seems like everyone wants to discharge out into the road.
When we first bought our home, I put a rock right through my neighbors car window. Knocked on her door, told her about it and asked if she had a phone book so I could find a glass company. She did, I did and had Safelite out the next day. Last week, I sent a rock flying into my own truck taillight. It happens but people should take responsibility.
Hopefully, PDR will fix it so you don’t have to worry about paint match.

I took it off because my warranty. But I have decided now with just over 25K, I am probably okay to put it back on.

Given the circumstances, I'd do the same thing. It's a no win for ya, a lot less heartburn, and better things to involve yourself with. Karma's a bitch.

Doesn't matter!
That's the truth, I agree with Dave the dashcam is there for that reason and I'm just lucky that I haven't had a circumstance to have to use it, yet.
