The lids are lockable. The actual cases have a hole in the mounting bracket so you can add you own padlock to lock them to the truck.

If you don't lock them to the truck, someone could just lift them out and run away with one.

The lids are not, I repeat, not, high security. You could pop one open with a pry bar. The swing cases are designed to go under a tonneau.

Yes, The Honorable Lenn Knighted me on the tenth of January. I can’t believe you didn’t hear the earth shake.

Pecked out on my iPhone.

I love your build on the regular cab. I really wish Ford would make the single cab in a higher trim level.

Default Small Stuff

Really too cold to do anything. It's still below freezing, so I did some things that I've been putting off.

Purchased a cell phone holder from Amazon. Click
 here here
. I saw it noted somewhere here on the forum. It's attached with tape, so I hope it will hold. If not, and I like it, I may shoot some screws through the hidden side.

I let the dashboard heat a while in the bright sun. Seems to be holding so far. They include a lot of extra adhesive tape for future use.

My Better Built crossover tool box will leak water if you run it through a carwash. I purchased a Truxedo tailgate seal, removed the thin factory seal, an applied the tailgate seal. It did fix the problem and no more high pressure leak.

So far the phone holder works well. Good location, away from the dog.

Shakes just a bit. Had to put blue lock tight on the screw.
