The license plate assemblies are a nice touch. I keep meaning to add this to mine but it keeps getting pushed back. The F250 version is way better than the F150 version.

Thanks, and it also includes LED bulbs.

Are the license plate lights a direct fit? Ive had those sitting in my garage for around a year and never touched them. I think i remember reading a while back that you need to do some trimming to make them work. Do you happen have any night time shots? Thanks

I am interested in the F250 license plate housing mod as well. How much trimming is involved?

They do need a little trimming on the step pad openings, I used a Dremel. I'll have to get the night shot tomorrow night. I'll see if I can get a trimmed shot too.

The trimming pretty much took off almost to the recess. @Summers22 @PhilZX6

The tools used.

The previous picture when I originally replaced the OEM bulbs to LED last September, the light reflected all the way up to the handle with the backup camera.

Now with the F250 assemblies installed, just a small triangle of light up to the recess of the F150 letters.

Looks much better with the new lamps. I’ll bet you’re getting a clearer image from the camera at night also, less glare?

Thanks, Mike it wasn't really that bad until it wasn't there anymore if you know what I mean, not that I ever had any problem seeing like you said clearer.

I also had a visit from the big brown truck too, it came too late to get it installed tonight for tomorrows meet down at Englishtown. This will be the third vehicle I've had this setup on.
