So a few months ago I traded in my 2014 F150 "Farley" to buy my dad's 2016 F150 back from the dealer. Truck is in great shape. Was going to start the build thread once I started throwing money at it. Well guess what? It started having an issue. So the build thread is going to start off just getting the thing back up and running and will document the progress from this point forward. It started developing rough idle and stalling and it got progressively worse over a period of time. My mechanic noted on a manual oil pressure gauge while at idle the oil pressure drops down below 20 psi. Causing the phasers not to be able to do their job (yes there were codes for the phasers) It seems to be the filters behind then phasers have gone bad, or at least 1. Since the front cover has to come off and the timing set disassembled i have decided to replace everything at 122,000 miles. While i am in there we are throwing MMR billet oil pump gears and crank sprocket. Stay Tuned!
