Rubberducky's 1996 F150 XL Build
Hey guys I just joined this forum but I've been lurking here from the sidelines for about a year.
I got my 1996 F-150 XL about a year ago and have done quite a bit of work to it so far.
This is what it looked like before:

My truck is a 5.0L V8 302
What i've done to it:
-Installed Skyjacker dual steering stabilizers (S7240).
-Put blue LEDs in the Dash Heater Controls and the Instrument Cluster, also put one in the ashtray.
-Cleaned frame with angle grinder and wire brush then painted frame gloss black with POR-15 (rust proof) and top-coated with gloss black to make it UV resistant
-Installed BC flag headliner (gotta represent)
-Rebuilt Transmission
-New Front brakes
-New Rear brakes
-Rebuilt E-brake (new rachet and cables)
-Warn Manual Locking Hubs
-New Throttle Position Sensor and Idle Air Control Valve
-Cleaned Throttle Body and Replaced Gasket
-Replaced drivers side fender (pulled one from junkyard and painted to match, body is now rust free)
-New JVC KDX50BT stereo with hands free Bluetooth and a dash mounted mic.
-New 6x8 Kicker three way speakers mounted behind seats
-New 6.5 Kicker three way speakers with tweeters mounted in doors
-Cleaned MAF sensor
-Replaced Christmas trees in door panels
-Replaced Front Axle U-Joints and seals
-New clutch, New flywheel
-Replaced right side motor mount
-Quad front Rancho shocks with 3" lift
-New leaf springs in back with 3" lift
-New steering box
-Hidden Hitch
-New UWS crossover toolbox
What I'm going to do next:
-Rancho Rear shocks
-Ignition upgrade
-Headers and exhaust
-Fix front fuel tank
-Complete Engine Rebuild
-New Battery
-New wheels, New tires
-Install VHF radio
I'll be working on it lots this summer when I'm not on fires so stay tuned!
