Default My gift:an 09 lariat screw

After talking to my uncle about how I wanted to buy his truck, three weeks later he handed me the keys as a gift.

It's a 2009 with highway miles and in great shape overall.

Pics feel as though my build is complete.

I installed 22" strada denaro rims (used)

A bakflip g2 (used)

And made my own ipad mount

This is exactly how I envisioned it and love how it turned out

Damn, congrats!! That's an awesome uncle you've got. Leaves a lot of money for modification if you choose to.

Yes this uncle is a very generous man. He was able to purchase a 2013 platinum Eco screw two days before he gave me this one.

And yes there are a couple more mods on the list after some research today. First one is a bak box. Second is a the storage box that goes under the rear seat.

It sure looks like shutting off the tpms system is going to be a battle if not impossible to disable.

Anyone ever have problems with the tailgate opening? I have to pull the tailgate handle lever with one hand and bump the tailgate pretty hard with the palm of my other to get it to unlatch. It's a little frustrating. Definitely theft deterrent ... But frustrating as well.

Check the latches on the tailgate, the one on my '97 Scab were loose, yes the bolts loosened off making it difficult to open, tightening them up fixed it, same tailgate went onto a '98 Scab this weekend...cheap bodywork !
