Regrets after Struts/level?
Got a 2025 F-150 SuperCrew FX4 6.5 ft bed and wanting to level.
We like to get pretty rural: washed out forest service, etc. but lots of highway to get there.
Level seems like it would be good.
Level kit cheaper than struts and airbags and retains factory smooth ride.
Struts sound sturdier, and provides better off road capability, but possibly at the expense of highway handling and mpg. Again, it will need to handle some troughs and washes, but not looking to crawl or get nutty.
Seen some of the other threads on this, but looking for anyone who feels like they made a mistake in choice and if they'd be willing to say something about why and what they'd do in retrospect. Knowing that if you spend $4k on a suspension, you may have some reason to convince yourself that it was the right choice.
Apologies in advance if I have missed other perspectives on this already posted.

i don’t have any regrets as it’s my hobby and i like the changes, i like fooling with stuff and so forth.
my only things is, if it’s not fun experimenting, then to take your time, be honest with your goals and your use, read reviews and so forth.
my favorite ride has been the 2.5’s (Fox 2.5 and king 2.5) but cost vs output isn’t there unless you use the the 2.5’s. Fox 2.0’s have been a great middle of the road for me and are fully adjustable.
so, had the journey not been fun, I would’ve technically regretted the King/Fox 2.5’s…but I knew they were overkill.
Thanks.
I'm considering what might be a middle of the road (or may be overkill in it's own way)
Bilstein 6112 front 2.5 strut
ReadyLift Bilstein B8 5100 Shock with AirLift load lifter 5000 Ultimate Air Spring Kit. Given your experience, I'd love your opinion on this proposed set up

two thoughts for me, I never tried the 6112’s since I hated the 5100’s so much. I also don’t like throw away shocks…yeah, Fox, king, icon, and so forth have service intervals, but at least they can be serviced? So if I’m ok with a non-serviceable shock and so forth…would be ok.
ive never regretted the Fox 2.0. Serviceable, easily adjusted (for the most part), full and complete shocks, and aluminum…plus i like the ride.
I bought stock Bilstein shocks/struts. I was leaning hard to leveling the front, but decided not to at this time. But depending on the amount of snow we might get in the future. I might have regrets going forward.........
I put a 2 inch leveling puck on mine but then added a stock block to my 2wd in the back to keep a bit 'o rake. No ragrets.
I replaced the trash rear shocks for 5100s as per forum law and when the fronts go, I'll throw 5100s there too.
