The plan was to keep it stock but….
Hey y’all. I’m brand new here and I’m really looking forward to getting to know the community around here. I’ve been a Toyota Tacoma guy for a good while but had to trade that in for a larger truck. Long story short I’m now in a 2017 F150 XLT Sport(Texas Edition).
I am really just starting on building this truck out to meet my needs/wants so I greatly appreciate any help or constructive advice along the way

I did a lot with my Tacoma so I’m definitely trying to stay more stock with this one. So far I’ve done the catch can, weathertech mats, replaced some OEM bulbs with LED, installed Powerstop rotors and pads and have made some Forscan changes. I’m planning on installing timbren rear bump stops to help with towing sag. I’ve already purchased them but haven’t installed.
I am currently working on installing an aftermarket Amp and Sub but I’m struggling with how to connect the Wpt1212 leads to the RCA cable which connects to the amp. I’ve read everything I can find on here but still haven’t been able to make it work. I get “signal” to the amp but it immediately goes into power protection mode. Who is the go to around here for audio wiring help?

As for the bump stops I’m referring to sag when towing my trailers. I have a travel trailer that is close to 7k pounds when loaded and I have a flatbed for various towing needs. Sorry I didn’t make that clear. We use a WDH with the travel trailer so that definitely helps distribute the weight better but the timbrens are supposed to help support the rear as well.
Hope that makes sense and thanks for stopping in here. Have a great day.
