Hey guys! I'm kind of new around here but i figured i'd post a build thread of my truck. I want to do a lot to it, so i'd really appreciate suggestions! The wheels, as you can see are actually factory, spent just 15 bucks on painting them black! So feel free to reply some suggestions, and i'll keep the thread updated!!!

 

Here's some current upgrades I forgot to add

• 2" Body Lift
• Painted Rims
• Painted Step Bars (Don't paint over chrome, learned it the hard way)
• Flowmaster Performance Exhaust w/ Duals
• 4" Chrome Tips

What I want to do:

• 4" Suspension lift*
• Flowmaster Super 44 in place of Super 50
• New step bars
• Black out tail lights/ head lights
• New rims
• Mud tires*
• Plasti-dip grill and back window plastic*
• Blue lit interior
• New speakers*
• Re-do interior ceiling lining (torn)*
• New barbed-wire pin stripe

*Biggest want-to-dos
Know of anything else I can do to make it look better? Suggestions are appreciated!

I'll get some posted later this week! Hadn't had a lot of time to change anything yet but I plan to do the grille and paint the wheels when I get some freetime this week.

 

Started to take off the grille today but it got dark so i didn't finish. Plan on painting it with plasti dip tomorrow, as well as the plastic around the back window. Also going to get a new battery tomorrow, cause mine is dragging really bad. Also going to order blue LED strips for the cab and will hopefully have a pic of that up by next weekend!

 

Got the battery in today, cranks like I just bought her off the lot. Never got the chance to plasti-dip, should definitely be able to Sunday though! Also gave Red a good wash, but I'll post pics when I paint the window seal and grille Sunday hopefully!

 

Well turns out the grill is an absolute b*tch to get out of the truck, so i've delayed the whole painting project a little while. Ordered some LED lights from Amazon today though for the interior. But here's the catch: I only had 12 bucks on my debit card, so I ordered some and got the standard shipping. It should be here by December 30th! I'm one frugal S.O.B when it comes down to it! So till then i'll try and do a few more things and post a few more pics!

 

Well LED strips came in early! I'll be installing them Saturday and will get some pics up! Just got to buy a few things first!

 

Well here's the footwell LED strips installed! They look good, and were super easy!

 

Here's the painted grille and emblems!!! Finally got some time Saturday! Now I need to paint the plastic around the window and it's on to bigger mods!
