Pick up some aluminum strapping next time you're out. It'll clean that up some. But it doesn't look too bad like that.

It's close. You have to be stoked.

Was planning on buttoning everything up today and pulling the dash so I could wire the gauges but that didn't happen. Got my grille surround repainted and the bumper on then I got called into work. Oh well. Even with the heat exchanger spaced up off the frame it still hangs below the bottom of the valance. Probably because of the body lift. I'll raise it up some more eventually

Today's tip from the wise: where shoes when working around soldering irons. They are hot and stepping on them will cause burns to the bottom of the foot

Burnt the crap out of the bottom of 3 toes. It sucks lol still hurts. I have tough feet since I'm barefoot alot at home and outside around The house but that was no match for the soldering iron lol

I guess three toes is better than if it popped up and managed to get between them.

Dumbass...lol

Years ago I was soldering at work and dropped the iron. Natural reaction was to catch it. I caught it by the iron and immediately dropped it again. They get damn hot!

Lol yeah they arnt the most pleasant things to grab ahold off. I stopped by a local swap guys house today to check out his truck again. I got lucky and he let me drive it. All I can say is Holy ****. The thing is amazing, I absolutely can not wait to finish

Finished tacking the traction bar mounts to the axle today and mounted the bars. I have to back my truck closer to the garage to get good welds on the mounts, my mig doesn't run good on extention cords. Other than that and welding up the exhaust it's all done
