Was planning on buttoning everything up today and pulling the dash so I could wire the gauges but that didn't happen. Got my grille surround repainted and the bumper on then I got called into work. Oh well. Even with the heat exchanger spaced up off the frame it still hangs below the bottom of the valance. Probably because of the body lift. I'll raise it up some more eventually

Today's tip from the wise: where shoes when working around soldering irons. They are hot and stepping on them will cause burns to the bottom of the foot

I guess three toes is better than if it popped up and managed to get between them.

GO SOX!
Years ago I was soldering at work and dropped the iron. Natural reaction was to catch it. I caught it by the iron and immediately dropped it again. They get damn hot!

Finished tacking the traction bar mounts to the axle today and mounted the bars. I have to back my truck closer to the garage to get good welds on the mounts, my mig doesn't run good on extention cords. Other than that and welding up the exhaust it's all done
