My 95 centurion build

Maybe to many trucks?
Now you are talking. My mom has a LM4 (same as most LS 5.3Ls) in her envoy bone stock and that thing flies.

Funny thing is everything you have suggested was done in a 305 build article I was just reading lol!! And everything had big gains in hp and torque. You also have to remember I'm no mechanic but so far everything mentioned I think I can tackle other than the cam. And I think these engines are pretty basic and straight forward compared to a new engine. When I do an Ls swap I will take it somewhere to be installed. I'm thinking Ls9 when the time comes lol!!!

The cam isn't to bad once you figure out which one you are going to run (choosing a cam is literally the hardest part). I have literally changed my mind over 20 times on which cam I want to run on my dream 351W (408 stroker) build however on my dream 460 build (520 stroker) I knew exactly what I wanted.
The 305 has a lot of cams to choose from it all depends on what you are using the car for.
Most stuff will bolt on plus it will give you a chance to learn so that you can build the engine in the Centurion! LOL
LS9s are fun. If I get a 95ish chevy truck I would love to do a LS swap. Only reason I won't do it on the van is limited room.

I think it will definitely be a good learning experience. Just finding out everything to do to it and making sure everything works with each other is a learning experience lol!!

Mines just a straight bar and I used 1/8"x1 1/2" flat bar with two score cuts to get a super sharp and clean bend then they go into the door jamb and have 2 self tapping screws to secure them.
