Hey guys, long time lurker, decided to post my rig and start contributing. Here is my 2018 XLT. I am awaiting my Havoc running Boards, Morimoto Headlights, and Tails. I will be upgrading to either Bilstein 5100 Shocks or Fox 2.0, Borla ATAK Exhaust, different Grill(not sure which yet), I will also be changing out my Tails as I am not sure the brand I will be going with (I don't like the Morimotos), and I will be adding Katzkin.. I was going to change to a S&B Intake but have read it's basically pointless. I am not after a race truck. I also am getting a Matt Black semi-large American flag designed for the rear portion of the truck.
Currently, I have a 6" RC Lift(this is my first truck and ride quality is great.. in my opinion), LED in my Fogs and Headlights, XD 818 Heist wheels on 275/65/20 Tires(no cutting whatsoever as I picked this size tire), Custom fabricated box for 2 10"s under the seat, JL Audio C1 6x9, JL Audio C2 6x5 in rears, 2 10" Kicker CompRT's, Garmin 55 Dash Cam, Avital 2-Way Alarm, RC Bed Cover, LED's on third brake, License, and Reverse. Well, that's it.. Nothing special like you folks. Just came back from Orlando on vacation so I apologize for the truck being dirty.
Little update on my build. I have Morimoto Headlights, Foglights, and Tailights. Rigid Rock lights 1 in each wheel well and 2 undercarriage. Vertex Coilovers front and Vertex shocks in rear. Added black wheel liner in rear( I thought the white looked tacky). Hard Tri-Fold Bed-Cover. Added a Escort Redline Radar which I hard-wired(pic not shown I took it down for the day will post how I did this in another post). Afe Stage 2 Intake. Flowmaster American Thunder Exhaust. Wrapped both the roof and door pillars Black Matt. American flag decals in rear. Upgraded door speakers to Infinity Kappa.
Well, that’s all for now. I have somewhere between 9-10k invested so far and I am far from done. Will be adding Katzkin, 8” Cluster, 37’s, Tune(if my dealer won’t void warranty), will be changing the front and rear bumpers, Icon UCA, possibly a different hood...
I have a lot on the table. Not sure which direction and in which order I will do next.
Nice build. How are you liking the RC Vertex coilovers and rear shocks? How is the ride and quality of these? What did you have on to replace them with?
