This wasnt a very fun day. Had to work in charlotte during all the riots and some thugs tried breaking into my truck. Thank you Ford for the laminated glass and thank you for insurance for covering that $1,800 note.
Finally had to get some new tires, wasnt what I wanted but I needed some tires to make the trip to Pigeon Forge for Ponies in the Smokies. Picked up these tires for $100 a piece so it was worth it just for a couple of weeks!
Then the best home depot trip ever happened. As we were pulling in, I see a 15/16 platinum with aftermarket wheels on it, and as we are getting out of the truck the owner of the platinum walks up. We ask him if he still has the factory wheels and he said sure do you want them. We throw an offer out of $500 and he says ill take $250-300 so naturally I walked away with them!
Now I finally was able to purchase some new tires that I actually wanted this time. So I ordered some 275/65/20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Also removed the sport stickers off of the bed because it looked cleaner with the new wheels.
