Haven't posted in a while. Since I last posted I added new wheels, tires, intakeanf a back up light
Wheels and tires. Got the wheels for free and the tires on sale for 500$
Not ideally what I wanted but they work
For the intake I just went with the AirRade jr kit. Works better than stock.... my first day with it I accidentally left black marks on the ground :-P
Back up light. Just a couple of these lights for free from a guy in my jeep club. Hooked it up to my hitch wiring. Alaska doesn't get dark in the summer so I'll have to wait to see if does what I needed it for

Console
What did you use for the Console Shift slot? Looking to add similar console but want a cubby where the shift is. Have a column shifter now and don't want floor shift.
Looks like the seats are going to be a wiring nightmare. my truck doesn't have any of the wiring to support installing them. I did get the center console in and am happy with it. Also installed a set of Miramoto led fogs.
Here's a pic from a quick drive into the mountains earlier today

Well.... the thread can be closed. I sold my F150 last summer and picked up a 2010 Tacoma from CoPart and rebuilt it. So far I'm not to impressed with the Tacoma

I’m back!
I’m back after a couple years of trying to like a Tacoma pickup.
I bought my first Tacoma wrecked from Copart. Took a couple months to rebuild but was a fun build with it’s ups and downs. Ended up building a fun little truck. “Little” ended up being the reason I sold it. It was an access cab and I really needed at full 4 door. I sold it after 14 months and about 20 thousand miles
Here’s how it turned out:
2.5” OME life with 285s
Onto the next one!
Try #2...
I bought this one new on fathers day 2019. It’s a 2019 Tacoma TRD Sport. I tried really hard to like this truck. I didn’t really do any mods to it except wheels and a bed rack. I really liked the way it looked and the interior but the dang truck had no ***** and shifted way to much. The TCM was engineered to try and make it more economical. That killed the truck from me

After my stint with trying to like Tacoma pickups I came back to a F150. I knew I wanted a higher trim level than my 2014 STX and I knew I wanted the 3.5L
j started by looking for a Lariat. Any time I searched I would see Limited or Platinums for just a tad more.
I ended up finding my truck about 200 miles north at a Cadillac dealership. I called them and put a down payment on it. They shipped it to me a few days later and the rest is history
2015 3.5L Platinum in pearl white. I went down to the beach today and snapped some pics of it. So far I have zero complaints and am on cloud 9 with the truck

I don’t plan on doing much to the truck but there are a few things I have in mind.
First this was one thing the halogen fog lights. I didn’t like that they didn’t match the headlights. I had issues with morimoto parts on my last headlight build so I wanted an OEM option for LED fog lights. I found a thread a on fitting 17+ F250 LED fog lights into a F150 so I took the route. I got to shopping on EBay and found a used set for less than 200$. Swapping them out took about 20 minutes and I’m very happy with the results
