There we go. Removed the cladding from my factory rims after one shattered in a pothole. Roughed up the aluminum a little then gave each rim 4-5 coats of VHT chassis enamal. Did the lips of each wheel well as well. Then rocker guarded my entire rear wheel well area and as much of the box as i could get at. Eventually i plan on ripping the box off and doing it right. As well as doing some under coating up front

There all done. Tommorrow i will hopefully get around to bed lining. At the very least i will be removing the box caps and lining underneath them. I recommend this to everyone as a must do if you keep the box caps. They are a huge rust trap

Yeah they turned out better than i expected. I roughed em up with 120 grit and i used vht chasiss enamal. I did about 3 light coats to make you sure i got full coverage. Then lai on two heavy ones to make sure any spots i didnt sand well didnt flatten out which they were until i really lai it on. I noticed one or two spots i didnt get 100% but not enough to matter. Stuf seems fairly tough as its meant for application to bare metal on frames, roll bars etc
