With the price point of the Chemical Guys' stuff, I'm willing to try it but only for polishes, seals, and waxes. I plan on get a Harbor Freight DA polisher pretty soon to polish her up real good. I've seen a lot of guys on here speak very highly of Jet Seal so I'm thinking of giving that a try as well. If you're using it and your truck looks as shiny as it did in the last few pictures you posted, I'M SOLD!

Ok....so I've been doing some research for a while and following some threads about the Tesla style head units for our trucks. Well, tonight I pulled the trigger on one and I'm pretty excited to see how this baby is going to look. This means the other mods will have to wait for a little while. If you care to take a peak at the threads they are here:

https://www.f150forum.com/f30/tesla-...isplay-397700/

This is the unit I bought. I bought the 2 g RAM and 64 g ROM.
Phoenix HU

The downside is it's coming from China so there's no telling how long it will take. Maybe by Christmas. Lol.

Those are really cool. I think early versions were not ready for primetime, it sounds like they have been working out the bugs.

Wow, another more "aggressive" mod for you, can't wait to follow along to see how this turns out. Maybe other mods take a break, but this one will probably be fun!

It does seem like some of the bugs have been worked out. What scared me away at first was the lack of being to update it. I found that they have been releasing updates to get rid of the bugs as they have found them. I'm hopeful that I'll be able to update the version of Android it runs on in the future.

This one should be fun and I'm pretty excited about it. Of the mods I want to do, this one is the single biggest purchase. I figured on getting this one out of the way and I can work on the others in pieces.

Just replaced my Sync 3 w/nav for this nifty little head unit. The Tesla style head unit from Android Radios. It looks fantastic in the dash and it retains all factory functions except voice like Sync 3. For voice... I use Google. The unit is really fast and so far, I love it. I have to play with some settings and add my own personal touch...but that's the fun part.

That sure does look cool...I'm interested to how robust it is.

So now it's official. I have just placed an order for all of the parts for Adaptive Cruise. Really looking forward to this mod.

UPDATE: Truck goes to the dealer for the TSB dealing with smoke from the tailpipe at cold start. Originally I was told that I would have to pay for them to drop my suspension components due to the lift I added. When they called me to let me know of my appointment, they told me they got with Ford and Ford said it isn't my fault the engine is having this problem and I shouldn't have to pay for their mistake. Ford is covering the complete repair; including anything they need to do to the suspension or lift components.

I'm dropping the truck off this Tuesday and they're giving me a loaner. There's no telling what crap I'll be driving. Lol.
