Default KCHILL'S easy build

So now that I have done several things to the truck over the last few years (as money allowed) I decided I would stick them all in one thread

First day I got her in Jan 2013, bone stock white metallic 2011 Lariat 5.0 2WD with 38k miles:

After a few months I stuck on a Bakflip F1 and added a 1.5 AS level and 1 inch rear block. Also wrapped the stock wheels with 275 60 20 Toyo AT2 tire (33"):

Then came the OEM HIDS, one of my favorite mods:

I ran that set up for about a year and then decided I was tired of the leveling kit on top of the squishy shocks so I had Fox 2.0 shocks placed at all 4 corners. It raised the from a little more than 2" from bone stock. The ride is much smoother and controlled with these. You can feel bumps more but they do not take the truck off track when hitting bumps like the OEM set up (also removed running boards):

Then finally the most recent update was adding 20x9 Chrome Fuel Hostages (+20 offset). I know chrome wheels seems to be what everyone hates on here but I felt it goes nicely with the white and chrome accented truck:

Not sure what's next. Considered larger tires but love the ride and gas mileage these have given over the last 40k miles.
Anyone do any type of aftermarket headunits? Was considering maybe an in dash iPad install or Double Din set up.

Any suggestions on where to go from here is also appreciated

Going to have some wheel well liners shipped to me so I can get rid of the white wheel wells in the rear. And to help when cleaning since its a pain trying to clean out under there

I put in a new kenwood headunit in my 2007, could never go back to stock. Big double din touch screen makes my truck's interior look super modern, along with pushing out good music. If you listen to a lot of music in your truck, a new head unit is a great upgrade. Also hooked up a rearview camera to it (saves my *** more often than I'd like to admit)

I really like some of the Kenwoods. Would want a clean install on this tan lariat faux wood grain. And I wonder if I'll be able to retain factory steering wheel controls and sync. Not sure of all my available options

KCHILL'S
I have a 2014 STX and put the Kenwood DNN991HD head unit in it and used a Maestro RR with the ford FO1 wiring harness and was able to keep my factory radio features. You can use the website to see if the Kenwood deck you have will work with their kits and see what functions will remain.

Hope this helps.
