How much did the Sync 3 cost you? Can I just buy the APIM? And what was wrong with the two USB/SD/AV our trucks have?

Yes I have a 13 FX4. I was in the same boat as you.
I got non nav as I can use my phone through Apple car play.
Contact texasFording on the forum. He will get you a price. Since you loose a/v function you have to replace the hub to just the USB. Took me 1.5 hours to do in total probably.
You have to replace screen and APIM.
Brief rundow of install:
Remove a bunch of stuff including the screen and APIM
Switch brackets to Sync3 screen and APIM
Install the gps that comes from TexasFordin (must install gps antenna even though sync 2s have it)
You can also go to 4dtech.com and buy the plug and play harness to switch connect USB hub to old harness, however that was $50 vs two wire splice which was free.
Put back together
Splice in power and ground from old USB to new.
Doneeeee

Hey I had the raptor grill lights installed on my stock grille then I got the raptoid grill and the raptor grill lights don't install the same way they did on the stock grille.. did you order those grille lights with the grille? How do they install/hang there? Can you send pics?

I'm out of town but when I get home I will. My lights came from boost bars. They came wth the grille. The grille has slots they slide into.
