Just another XLT
I do not necessarily consider this a build but just a process that I enjoy and that’s coming from someone who is the furthest thing from an expert as they come. I’m learning as I go and thought I would use this to keep track of my little progress. About a year ago, I swapped out my 2012 F150 XLT 5.0L and I picked up a new 2020 F-150 3.5L ecoboost FX4. I’ve always been a V8 man but I have thoroughly enjoyed this 3.5 thus far. Here is a picture shortly after I picked it up. I’ve done nothing major thus far, mainly just all small mods and I’ll post some pictures of them soon but as it sits right now:
-Rough Country 2.5” leveling kit
-275/60/20 Yokohama Geolander A/T’s
-JLT 3.0 Catch Can
-Cobb Coolant Cover
-Tailgate Assist
-Proclip USA phone holder
-Weathertechs, front and back
-Roll-N-Lock Bedcover
-Slyvania’s LED’s in the front, cargo and license plate lights, Heise in the brights (story behind that)
-5% tint all around except for front (35% max in Texas)
-Rebadged my F150 XLT fender emblems with F150 ecoboost ones
-Removed my FX4 decals and steps
Like I said, nothing major, just eye candy but I do plan on adding some meat and potatoes soon enough. Here’s the first pic I took of it and one as it sits now.
