I wish I would've gotten these before I put my fog light shrouds back in. They look great John. Thanks for posting a link.

Thanks Dewey! Ya, it's a lot easier pulling out the whole headlight housing, then the complete fog light and shroud to change them out. Those crash bars get in the way, and so does the bumper support, but after unbolting one of the supports and pushing it aside it can be done with a little finesse. Much easier for an olde guy sitting on a roll around stool, than trying to twist joints that don't twist as much anymore from underneath.:D

Hey guys, need some honest opinions. Got to thinking after reading Firerunners thread, about maybe PTMing my foglight shrouds. I've got an extra pair, so it's not like I'd lose much if it looked like crap or tacky.
What think the braintrust? |
Since you have an extra pair anyway, I say GO FOR IT! Like you said if it doesn't look right you still haven't lost anything.

Thanks guys, you're getting me closer to just make up my mind and do it.
Firerunner, I'd Like to use the same paint you used on your covers, what brand is that? I couldn't make out what it was. Steps I plan to use; 1. Sand to 1000 2. Adhesion promoter 3. Primer 4. Base coat 5. Clear |
Everything I bought came from automotivetouchup.com

That's the same one I used. PTM was dead on. You won't be disappointed. I can't wait to see how it turns out.
