johnday's 2017 build, and random wanderings

3 Attachment(s)
Picked this truck up 10/07, after driving an '18 150 down to another dealer for a trade on 10/06. Since I drive part time for my dealer, I as allowed to do that. No one other than the carhauler and whoever at the factory has driven thisbut me.
Change for me going to a 3.5 Egoboost from a tuned 5.0, worlds of difference right now,but hope I can get this thing to run as good, or maybe better.
10 speed, XLT/Sport, 3:55ELD,.
Firstphotos are at the dealer with my '12, and when I first got it home.

So today, I got the tailgate F150 badge off, both Egoboost door stickers, and that godawful/stupid/gayass "Sport 4 times 4" thing off the box. I hate that word "Sport". Reminds of the Brady Bunch.:censored:
Got my tonneau on from the '12, nice surprise it fit!!
Hope to order exhaust, wheelwell liners, tuner, this week
Plan to lower the rear end, it's 3" higher than the front 37"/40" right now. Another different approach for me.
Anyway, todays expose.

 You stepped over to the dark side TT. LOL Nice truck, don't waste any $$ trying to make it sound like a v8.
.

Firerunner 10-08-2017 05:23 PM

Wow...that nose to nose shot make the '17 look small! I agree with Rnlcomp on the sound, If your going for the deep tones you will be disappointed with the EB exhaust.

Siber Express 10-08-2017 06:59 PM

Looking Good John, don't know if the Turbo helps or hinders the sound but to my old ears the V6 the louder it gets the worst they sound. My Mustang is subtle, Short tube headers and Borla Touring. But on a side note I have Roush muffler off of my 6.2 I can give you.

Truckin 10-08-2017 07:32 PM

Congrats on the new ride! Gonna keep the raptor rims?

Nah, no way it's gonna sound as good, at least to us nonmillenials. I'm just aiming to make it livable and limit the rice as much as possible, maybe with the turbos singing the rice won't be noticed. LOL.
So, is the color alright?:jester:

Oh, I sure can't disagree, I'm a bit on the nervous side. The least rice sounding one I've found is the Borla SType, of course I'm partial to Borla to start with. As it is though, I can't wait to hear those turbos.:D

LMAO I knew IT you just had to get the ruby red, yeah yeah I know Ford calls it something else now, hell back in the day we called it Candy Apple Red.

But but but a v6 ? Only way I would get that would be in a Raptor. :D

Thank you! No on the wheels, my salesman/friend bought them, the KO2's, the CAI, and my suspension. He's taking the Borla off for me to sell, already have a bite on it. He's flipflopping the boards as well and giving them back to me. He also knows what kind of parts I've got, so I'm waiting a week or so before I list them myself. Even has a guy that will tune the 3.5 anyway I want, but I'm a bit leery about that. Not because the dealer knows, but does this guy know what he's doing?;)

A word to the wise about modding. ALWAYS hold on to your stock parts if they're any good.

.

Yepyep, Candy Apple Red, I had two bikes that color, and a '78 Power Wagon that was very close. In fact when I got my wife her RR Focus, she mentioned it was the same color as those bikes and truck.
Why the 6? Valid question. I drove 2 of them with that engine and the 10 speed, and was actually impressed, and got thinking about the fuel mileage as well. I plan on getting with MPT this week, and likely buy their 93PRX for this 3.5. I see they're using NGauge now as well. $300 for the tune and tuner according to their site.
I thought I'd like to try something different too, time will tell if I screwed up. Crap, the kids are all gaga about the ricer stuff, so I might have stuck my foot in a different market.:D
I'll give it a year or so, and if I feel like I want to get back into another 5.0, I will. That Coyote is one fine engine, I'll NEVER deny that!
One drawback I already see, is I can't run E85, that is, if the fuel system are built for it, I might get their E85 tune as well. Do you know if the fuel system on the Egoboost is compatible? I'm not sure if the turbos have any bearing either. Much more research is needed on my part.;)
If I can get this to perform as well as my Coyote, I'll just wear earmuffs so I don't have to hear it. Ya, that's what I'll do!!!:thumbup:

Shadetree43 10-08-2017 08:34 PM

 On the color. Will be watching for any reviews/comments, positive or negative. Really like my 13 Lariat (27.7K miles), but I'm sure looking at left over 17s with the 10 spd trans. Just having a hard time justifying giving up my 13 and a bunch of money for a new one.

Please keep us posted.

Summers22 10-08-2017 09:16 PM

Nice mods so far! I was shocked that my 07's tonneau fit on my '17. Wheel well liners are a must for me from here on out, so good choice there. I need to check out MPT and the NGauge. Oh, and have the moderators move this to members builds from general section.

I have the Stock air box and front Springs off of my 03 F150 downstairs, as well as the stock springs and rear lower control arm off my 08 Mazda3 and the Y pipe and front Bumper off my 2010 V6 Mustang. Also have the stuff off my 2013 Mustang down there also.
Think it is time to clean out the old auto parts since the cars and truck have left the property

Will do. I'm being a bit critical in my thinking right now. I'm still used to the '12.
Likely order a tune/tuner tomorrow.;)

Thanks, anyone you know just did the same?:D
Crap, didn't think of putting it there, that would be the right place.
Question for ya. Did you measure the stock front height? This thing looks to me like the nose is pretty low, just wondering if the fronts on this generation are the same for RWD and 4X4. Do you have a block in the rear too?
I took quite a fall today, so it might be a bit before I can climb underneath, but that won't stop me from spending!:D

Ha, rummaging around the other day, I found the owners manual for my 1970 Dart 340, along with a set of points. Man, things were simple then!

Oh, just a guy with the same name! I did measure the whole truck, but fender lip bottom to ground. I'll look for them tomorrow. The difference was right around 3" total front to back. The shackles dropped it rear 2", so still 1" of rake. No blocks on the RWD.

Cool, that's the same ratio I've got, working on a plan now. Possibly by using those shackles, and removing the block, it'll be level. Pretty good return on the dollar I'd say. That is, if mods are a good return, LOL.
Really hope to get underneath this thing today, and see the sights.:D

Did your shackles come with a set of tapered shims, or does the pinion angle stay close enough to stock to not be a problem?

SCORGE 10-09-2017 08:06 AM

Very nice truck, sport.

They came with shims, I installed them with the shackles. No vibes.

tareed94 10-09-2017 10:21 AM

Truck looks good! On my '07 I kept most of the stock parts, but on the '16 I'm selling everything I take off. I even managed to sell the stock shocks (about 2,000 miles) and stock struts (about 10,000 miles) for $200 total. Covered about half of my suspension upgrades. My neighbors were looking at me like I was insane when I was out in the parking lot changing shocks on a truck the first month or two of ownership. Lol

Summers22 10-09-2017 10:25 AM

Tareed, my Bilsteins will be here tomorrow......lol. My stock shocks have right at 2K on them as well.

Lol. There's a pretty good trend on this forum, that's about how long most seem to go before swapping to something else. I chose BOSS (formerly F-150lifts) because Fox were on national backorder at the time and Stage 3 cut me one hell of a deal on them.

johnday in BFE 10-09-2017 05:46 PM

Shocks will likely be replaced with something better on the rear. I can't believe how loose and light the rear end feels. Just inherint in the 13th gen from what I read.

Got Weathertech mudder flappers front/rear, and rear wheel well liners installed today. $250, and didn't raise a finger. I'm glad, with my practicing Stupidman leaps off the tailgate yesterday, I couldn't bend over far enough anyway, dammit, it hurts!!!
Also set up appointment to have the grille insert PTMed a week from today, and ordered my nGauge tuner from MPT today.
I screwed up with the pricing. It was $300 for the tunes, NOT including the tuner, the tuner was right about another $400. My reading comprehension must really be going down hill.
My dealer parts guy is trying to get a better price on a Ford Performance "Sport", [there's that damn word again], System with black tips for me. We'll see how that goes, it's nothing more than a Borla SType with the Ford oval instead of Borla logo on the tips.

Summers22 10-09-2017 05:55 PM

Sounds like the perfect mods so far! PTM the grille insert will be interesting. I didnt see the NGauge on MPT site, but then again, I was looking at the 15-19 5.0 section and they just had the SCT X4 and Livewire as options. Why did you jump off the tailgate? Even me at 44 is leery of those kind of jumps........lol

Lol. I've done a few that hurt at 23...

John, $700 for the tuner and tunes?! That's insane! Why is the n-gauge the ONLY tuner listed for the 2017 EB? I can get an SCT X4 with 3 tunes for my 5.0 for $450 from them. Seems the EB should be cheaper since there's 2 less cylinders. :jester:

Summers22 10-09-2017 06:04 PM

I wonder why its so high, I saw the SCT X4 with 3 tunes for $449 as well. Thats a bargain!

My guess is the turbos make it more difficult, and the n-gauge is likely more than the X4. I know if you have a blower on the 5.0 1 tune is $500!

If the vehicle was capable of E85 use it would have the green leaf on it. I wouldn't use it even with an E85 tune, so many other parts of the vehicle not designed to use the highly corrosive stuff.

I was being sarcastic, LOL. I really didn't jump I fell. I eas putting the tonneau back on, almost done, and was going for a sip of coffee. I hiked the britches up like an olde guy, and went to step down on a stepstool. My foot never touched it. My leg went under the tailgate, and the rest followed. Free fell from tailgate height to concrete floor height in record time. First landed on the top of shoulders and neck, and I don't know what I hit my back on. Very lucky I didn't break something, like a hip, it's all downhill after that happens!!:D Hurting pretty good all day.

It seems like an earlier model of this gen had an option of a PTMed grille, could be mistaken, but I swear I saw it on a Blue Flame.
I called MPT and talked to Dwayne, and asked if my SCTX4 could be used on my truck by reprogramming. I believe he said the SCT wouldn't support my tune for an Egoboost.
Do you need a SCTX4? I'd make you a deal you couldn't refuse if you could use it. Just have it unmarried from mine, and do what you need.

That 450 is what I think I paid as well from Stage3 with 5 tunes from 5*. That was a few years ago though. I understood that the SCTX4 wouldn't support the Egoboost tunes, that was good enough for me, electronics need to be kept super simple for me.LOL

Ya, that's what I've been thinking too. I did ask about the fuel system today, with one the dealer techs, as to if the 3.5 had different fuel system materials than a FF. He was honest enough to say he didn't know. So to be on the safe side, it looks like 93 is going to be my fuel. LOL, sorta in the boat as you now, neither one of us can use it, you because it ain't there, and me because of the system. Wonder why Ford just didn't build the fuel systems all out of the same material.

I wish like heck we had 93 around here. We do have pure 91 though, so thats good enough for me. When I get a tuner/tune 91 will be used. For now, 89 is going in the tank.

You've got E85 don't you? Just run that instead of 93, mileage suffers, power sure doesn't. That way you could get that 93PRX tune.

From what I hear on the newer engines whether it's the 5.0 or any of the egoboosts a tune is almost night and day difference. And that's interesting about the X4, I'm curious why it's not compatible.

Gotta be careful. I learned that just because you've got a vehicle listed as flex fuel does NOT mean all your parts are compatible. My '07 said it was flex fuel capable, but I went to replace the fuel filter once and I bought the filter for the flex fuel. Well, the filter connections were too small for my fuel lines. When I looked it up I found that it was common for some plants to use the same fuel lines on all of the trucks regardless of if they were for flex fuel or not. The non flex fuel lines were bigger in diameter than the flex fuel lines. Given that E85 is very corrosive, that could've turned into a nightmare had I been running E85 exclusively.

Very true, my tunes very much woke up my 5.0. That thing would really move out.

Oh ya, very careful. Unless someone shows up with a notarized statement from Ford, and a $100,000 insurance policy, this thing will see nothing but 93, unless it's not available, in that case, it'll go back to stock;)

LOL, I should a taken bids!!:D

Well, got the fender badges off today, and shot a few coats Rustoleum Peel Coat on them. I had a fresh can of the Graphite color, so used that. A close match to my running boards.
Also found about a dime size dent on the hood I didn't see the other day, I've got confidence my guys will take care of me. Looks like PDR could take care of it. Turns out, the shop that is painting my grille does PDR too. Cool.
A couple photos of the holes Ford uses so the great apes can align the fender badges. The 2 slots are for clips like on the tailgate of a 12th gen.
Also a backside shot so you guys with 13th gens know what you may be in for.

Well damn, if the tuner was that good of a deal I should've asked! Haha

PDR is some awesome stuff. They had to fix a few hail dents on my truck when I got it, I can't even find them anymore. I'd love to ditch the fender badges and get the antenna "shaved", but from what others have found people want a small fortune to fill the holes behind the fender badges.

johnday in BFE 10-10-2017 05:22 PM

I wonder why they do that? They can do the tailgate on the 13th gen for F150 badge, with no holes.
Ya, it ain't cheap. On my '12 I was going to remove all badging, and have the holes filled and painted, except for the blue ovals. I can't recall the price right off hand, but this would have been with a guy that's done custom work for me before, and always was reasonable. Sure would look good shaved, and with the lowering, it definitely would be retro. I'd like that. I still like trucks lifted, but I have to admit, it's a whole lot easier to get into this stocker right now.:D
Oh yeah, ordered my lowering shackles. 2 weeks before they're shipped!!:censored:

No idea... I wanna say the quote I saw someone talk about (in Houston, TX) was like $1500-$2000. Granted he had a truck that was White Platinum Tri-Coat, but still...

I really liked mine stock, but then started changing things out. I almost got one that was near identical but 2wd, that one would've been low. I was looking at a 3/5 drop for it.

Cant wait to see them in the Peelcoat Graphite! As you know, I love that color!

IIRC, I think it was $1000 he was talking. This guy does excellent work, but geez! He really didn't seem too excited about.

Think that'll get some attention? I thought someone would do it on their own.
Ya, I know you had your old wheels that color. I know why I had that, I was thinking of doing my chrome steps, but got other ones instead.

 Thanks.

So much for two weeks before I get my shackles. Just got an email saying they'll be here the 12th. I can live with that.

Summers22 10-10-2017 09:01 PM

You installing them or your shop?

johnday in BFE 10-10-2017 09:32 PM

I'm thinking of doing the shackles and exhaust at the same time, depends on timing. Maybe get with my guy at his shop and lend a hand. As it is, I don't know how sore I'll be!:D
I'm sure glad impacts were invented!!

I know, impacts are great, but I still tend to reach for the ratchets and wrenches. I want a muffler upgrade so bad, but I am very, very picky. It has to be installed perfectly, welds and all.

Took a couple painkillers and got out there.
Put the fender badges on after hitting them with the Graphite Peelcoat. They match my wheels and boards pretty close now. I like how that stuff has a metallic like color, and just enough glossier than Plasti Dip. Sorta undecided though, may change later.
Got the lower front airdam off as well. That thing is just too close to the ground.
Jumped under the rear, and discovered that the lift blocks are 1 1/4" just like the 12th gen. If anyone is interested, there is no bump stop ear back there either. Looks like the rubber bumper is molded to fit the axle profile.
Ordered my Borla SType, split rear exit, with black tips. Got 10% off at Stage3, $1023 total. It was very worthwhile on my 5.0, I'm hoping on this Egoboost.

JAMADOR 10-11-2017 05:40 PM

Glad to see a shot of the peelcoat, was thinking about doing the same on mine. Might just push me over the edge.

johnday in BFE 10-11-2017 06:03 PM

I've PlastiDipped a number of things, this was my first shot with the Peel Coat. I think it went on better, and the satin shine was something I never got before. I'll use it again. IIRC, "Summers22" had it on his wheels on his '07, and I think he used spraywax on them, Turtle Wax? He'll likely answer up.

Summers22 10-11-2017 06:22 PM

Looks good! Yep, Turtle Wax Ice spray wax. mist on, wipe off and done. It really protects and even repels water. Peelcoat graphite does flow smoother than plastidip in my opinion.

johnday in BFE 10-11-2017 07:19 PM

Thanks Jon! Cool, I even have a fresh bottle of it. I gotta get some wax going pretty soon.;)

How much prep did you have to do on the badges? Are they stuck to the fender, or just clips? And, is the black backing adhered to the chrome part, or just plastic welded?

Adhesive and clips, take a look at my photos again.
Wasn't too bad. Used my heat gun and lightly heated up around the badge for a bit and let the heat get under the plastic and soften the adhesive, then took a plastic trim removal tool and pried them off, be careful, too much heat and you'll warp the badge, too much pressure and I'm afraid the aluminum would dent.
I used my thumb to rub the adhesive off, being careful not rub anywhere the badge didn't cover to prevent scratches. Then took 3M adhesive remover, held a clean rag just below where I wanted to spray, sprayed, let soak for a minute, sprayed again and wiped off.
I used my thumb to rub it off the back of the badge. These badges, Ford made pretty much one piece by plastic welding stuff together.
After I got all the crap off, I sprayed the entire badge a couple times with brake cleaner. Also the backside of badge.
Painted likely 6 coats, used alcohol to clean fender area, and used 3M molding/trim tape cut to size on back of the badge.
Then, hit the fender with my heat gun to warm everything up, and stuck the badge back on, lightly hitting it with heat and making sure things stuck but pushing lightly with a rag.
Be aware, those badges are for left/right, they're labeled, you'll see an R or or an L.;)

JAMADOR 10-12-2017 05:01 PM

Thanks, with temps starting to dip, this may be a later project, unless we get a surprise warm weekend.
Need to find a couple cans of the peelcoat. May just look into picking up a 2nd set of badges to take my time with it.

LOL, been thinking that!!! I've been meaning to ask how the rear window defroster wires affect it. Do they?

Christmas came very early the last couple days. Got my Borla SType, and nGauge delivered today, shackles the other. Just need to wait for hoist time, and MPT now.

Summers22 10-13-2017 07:28 PM

I just tinted the front 2 windows only. Didn't mess with the rears. My tint guy has tried 5 different shades/types and he told me he finally narrowed it down to whatever he used in mine.

johnday in BFE 10-13-2017 07:45 PM

I'm gonna have to do a bit more thinking on the tint. Down in my wifes area, Mr. LEO pulls quite a few in for having the front doors tinted, let alone the windshield. She wanted tint on her car, and I told it wouldn't be a good idea there. All other windows you can do what you want here.
On both the '12 and my Ranger, all three rear windows were/are at 5%, perfectly legal in Michigan, and that's what I'm initially thinking of. But who knows, the front door windows do look good when they closely match the rest.
Betcha that's a 20 or 30% tint. Can't recall right now what factory is.

Summers22 10-13-2017 10:12 PM

He told me its closer to 23%, so I think mine are 25% because they are slightly lighter than the rears and MUCH lighter than my 07's 20% windows.

johnday in BFE 10-13-2017 10:41 PM

It does look good though!

johnday in BFE 10-15-2017 01:20 PM

OK, as is obvious, I'm totally new to the lowered thing. I already know my stock shocks aren't the best, and at this point when I have hoist time, I might "just as well" replace the rears at least. Is there a rule of thumb or anything as to what would be the best way to go as far as length, brand? I'd like something that would help with hookup as well, short of bars.

Looks like you already have privacy glass in the rear, same as my truck, I went with the Louisiana legal limit of 35% on the two front windows with a limo (5%) brow on the windshield. Never had any issues with inspection or popo.

johnday in BFE 10-15-2017 03:31 PM

As everything on that truck, it looks great. I just might go ahead and tint the front door windows to match. If the popo down there doesn't like it, well, I won't be out that much $ wise.
Seeing the vehicles and the drivers that I know for sure got whacked, I kinda suspect that Mr.LEO let them slide on a bigger ticket like speeding or whatever, but had to leave them with something. ;)

I will be 100% honest. I replaced my rears with the Bilstein 5100's and wasn't expecting "dramatic" improvement. What I got was dramatic improvement. Well the biggest improvement I noticed was the feeling when I accelerate from a dead stop. Overall I think the $$ spent was very much worth it.

With my experience with tinted windows, i have ever only been pulled over by the State boys for window tint. It's usually a R&R ticket, which means take the tint off, have it signed off by a trooper, and hand in the ticket, then go get it put back on lol. OR you can just leave the tint on, pay the ticket, and keep on going.

Oh ya, It's not a huge deal, just can be aggravating, but it is the law, whether any of us agree or not. ;)

Got my lowering shackles, SType exhaust, and grille PTMed and reinstalled today. Very happy how it all turned out. The grille is perfect, 100% first rate job. The shackles lowered the rear 1 1/2" as advertised. The rake is now 1 1/2", and am thinking of Bilsteins to raise the front a bit.
And the best part is the exhaust, it really doesn't sound ricy, it sounds a lot different than a 5.0 for sure, but after my last debacle with exhaust systems, I'm keeping this on there. Fit/finish is typical Borla, impeccable.
No photos tonight, truck is filthy, plan on cleaning it tomorrow, and then photos.

Summers22 10-16-2017 10:28 PM

Cant wait to see pics! One thing I wish I would have mentioned was maybe painting the fender emblems to match when you did the grille insert. May have been to much though.

oh i don't agree with it at all. Going to college i saw way too many people peeping into other people's cars as they walked by. Which is why i had limo tint on my S10 at one point lol. Trying to convince the boss to let me go darker on the F150

When we were reinstalling the grille, I was actually in the shop BSing with the body guy. This was a new shop for me, and the owner was a bit hesitant to let me back there, but after a short conversation, I think he figured it out that I was genuinely interested, and wouldn't be one of "THOSE" customers.
The tech was a good guy, and we BSed about cars/truck in general, he even told me come back anytime, Cool!
He did see the Peel coat, and he actually thought at first I'd painted it. He also liked the subtle changes. He was a bit younger than me, but he remembered the debadged look, and liked it. He also was a very good airbrush guy. I asked what he'd do on my truck. Just keep going the way you are he said. Pin stripes and stuff would just look gaudy. Of course I agreed. I mention that because, depending on his answer, there could have been more bucks in his pocket. I appreciate honesty like that.
That was a good suggestion, but ya, it might have been too much.;)

At first, I was thinking of going 5% again on the back 3 windows, but am thinking of just tinting the front doors to match the privacy glass.
I can understand Mr. LEO being a bit nervous approaching a vehicle he can't see the driver or passenger, just for his own safety. I always roll down the window and keep my hands where they can be seen when dealing with them initially, I don't like making cops nervous, and they've even mentioned the way I handle myself at a stop. Being a heavyhaul driver in a previous life, I've had plenty of contact with the DOT guys, only one iffy stop, and it was just that particular guy.
In reality, 5% tint ain't a gonna work good on the front doors except at a show. No one can tell me you can see out after dark like you should. Being reasonable goes a long way. But it does look good.;)
I think you're a pretty reasonable guy, BTW.

tareed94 10-17-2017 08:25 AM

I've got 5% over my rear windows, it's dark at night but I can still reasonably see if there's street lights outside. In the middle of nowhere forget seeing out of the sides. My front windows are too light though, I believe they're 35% over the factory glass, legal is 25% down here. I'm planning to get Air80 on my windshield with a 5% brow.

FX4BullDog 10-17-2017 08:45 AM

in michigan you can only have the 6" brow on the windshield, and only 6 or 8" down from the top on the driver and passenger windows. The back windows can be as dark as you want.

Damn that grill looks good... Makes me want to hurry up and get my grill situated. But I've got some big things up in the air, such as possibly changing jobs and moving sometime soon. Need to be saving money for the possibility, so mods are on hold for me sadly. I've got my eye on doing a color matched platinum grill.

johnday in BFE 10-17-2017 05:59 PM

That oughta look good! You won't believe the price I paid. $100 USD, and they asked me if that was too much!!!! I'm very happy with it, it really stands out in the sun, and still subtle.
I asked my guy at the dealer if Ford hadn't done something close before, turns out they did. I think he told me it was on the Lariats, I knew I saw something like that somewhere, in Blue Flame IIRC. But there weren't many of them.

Got my MPT tunes today, and a text from that drive train test/monitoring place. They're sending me the donkey dongle thingy, so my tunes are on hold for at least two weeks. That's OK, I only have 400 miles on it, and hadn't planned to throw the tunes on for a couple thousand miles, maybe even after the first oil change.

Yes we do! I appreciate it. Now, to find a set of 20" Sport wheels like you have. I am just not sure I like these wheels I got. I should have put a little more thought into the offset.

johnday in BFE 10-17-2017 10:44 PM

Right now, I plan on running these wheels, they've grown on me. Would like a slightly wider tire, those are 275/55/20, I'd like to go to maybe a 285 eventually, but then I'm tending to get into taller than I want, 33" max, I want to keep the launch capability of a shorter tire.
It's a far shot, and you've heard it before, but maybe look for some takeoffs. Those aren't the wheels that come stock on mine, they were an option, so takeoffs might be rare,

I'm gonna have to figure out my camera to get a video, maybe break down and try to decipher the owners manual into English I understand.

Thanks on the grille.
That shop is in Alpena, Larry's Collision, Dan is the guy that I worked with. I got there at 0800, we removed the grille, and I was back at 1300. There's supposedly a lot of touristy things to do in Alpena, maybe make it a day trip for you, I could even meet up there.
