But but but a v6 ? Only way I would get that would be in a Raptor. :D
.

Yepyep, Candy Apple Red, I had two bikes that color, and a '78 Power Wagon that was very close. In fact when I got my wife her RR Focus, she mentioned it was the same color as those bikes and truck.
Why the 6? Valid question. I drove 2 of them with that engine and the 10 speed, and was actually impressed, and got thinking about the fuel mileage as well. I plan on getting with MPT this week, and likely buy their 93PRX for this 3.5. I see they're using NGauge now as well. $300 for the tune and tuner according to their site.
I thought I'd like to try something different too, time will tell if I screwed up. Crap, the kids are all gaga about the ricer stuff, so I might have stuck my foot in a different market.:D
I'll give it a year or so, and if I feel like I want to get back into another 5.0, I will. That Coyote is one fine engine, I'll NEVER deny that!
One drawback I already see, is I can't run E85, that is, if the fuel system are built for it, I might get their E85 tune as well. Do you know if the fuel system on the Egoboost is compatible? I'm not sure if the turbos have any bearing either. Much more research is needed on my part.;)
If I can get this to perform as well as my Coyote, I'll just wear earmuffs so I don't have to hear it. Ya, that's what I'll do!!!:thumbup:

 On the color. Will be watching for any reviews/comments, positive or negative. Really like my 13 Lariat (27.7K miles), but I'm sure looking at left over 17s with the 10 spd trans. Just having a hard time justifying giving up my 13 and a bunch of money for a new one.

Please keep us posted.

Nice mods so far! I was shocked that my 07's tonneau fit on my '17. Wheel well liners are a must for me from here on out, so good choice there. I need to check out MPT and the NGauge. Oh, and have the moderators move this to members builds from general section.

A word to the wise about modding. ALWAYS hold on to your stock parts if they're any good.

Thank you! No on the wheels, my salesman/friend bought them, the KO2's, the CAI, and my suspension. He's taking the Borla off for me to sell, already have a bite on it. He's flipflopping the boards as well and giving them back to me. He also knows what kind of parts I've got, so I'm waiting a week or so before I list them myself. Even has a guy that will tune the 3.5 anyway I want, but I'm a bit leery about that. Not because the dealer knows, but does this guy know what he's doing?;)

I have the Stock air box and front Springs off of my 03 F150 downstairs, as well as the stock springs and rear lower control arm off my 08 Mazda3 and the Y pipe and front Bumper off my 2010 V6 Mustang. Also have the stuff off my 2013 Mustang down there also.
Think it is time to clean out the old auto parts since the cars and truck have left the property

Will do. I'm being a bit critical in my thinking right now. I'm still used to the '12.
Likely order a tune/tuner tomorrow.;)

Thanks, anyone you know just did the same?:D
Crap, didn't think of putting it there, that would be the right place.
Question for ya. Did you measure the stock front height? This thing looks to me like the nose is pretty low, just wondering if the fronts on this generation are the same for RWD and 4X4. Do you have a block in the rear too?
I took quite a fall today, so it might be a bit before I can climb underneath, but that won't stop me from spending!:D

Ha, rummaging around the other day, I found the owners manual for my 1970 Dart 340, along with a set of points. Man, things were simple then!

Oh, just a guy with the same name! I did measure the whole truck, but fender lip bottom to ground. I'll look for them tomorrow. The difference was right around 3" total front to back. The shackles dropped it rear 2", so still 1" of rake. No blocks on the RWD.

Cool, that's the same ratio I've got, working on a plan now. Possibly by using those shackles, and removing the block, it'll be level. Pretty good return on the dollar I'd say. That is, if mods are a good return, LOL.
Really hope to get underneath this thing today, and see the sights.:D

Did your shackles come with a set of tapered shims, or does the pinion angle stay close enough to stock to not be a problem?
