Sorry to break to yah bud but there's two things that make it extremely unlikely that they are real beadlocks. First, a bead lock works by utilizing two rings that basically clamp together holding the bead in place. Well in order for a wheel to be converted to beadlock they need to have the outer lip machined off and the inner ring welded in its place. As you can see in his pictures, his rings are on the inside of the lip of his wheel, it was never machined off. Second, there is not enough bolts to hold the two rings together to effectively hold the bead in place. With that few bolts the bead will still most likely spin.

I mean it could be something I've never heard of or seen before but it's highly unlikely.

Yes, he is right. They are simulated bead locks but ibf150 never claimed they were functional.

Ivan said before that they are fake beadlocks. Go back and read the previous posts.

So... If you know all about "BEADLOCKS" what exactly are you trying to prove? KMC XD809 are not made with beadlocks so "some modifications" had to be done to get them to fit...

I never questioned him about the authenticity of his mod... What I do no is he's the first that i've seen with that large of a lock... Fake or not...

That's correct they are simulated depending on what wheel you're running you might be able to use them. 18" 20" you can get for about $80 each.

Bead locks are painted but not going on the truck until right before I leave the house for scrapin the coast. Trying to get the dash painted in the next five days but can't make any promises. Finalized the mounting of the light bar and finished the wiring. Got my windshield tinted, what a world of difference. Went and helped my buddy Jake to mount his 30" light bar in his truck, 06+ trucks take a bit more engineering to mount the light bar. Birthday is Thursday so I'm using it as an excuse to buy myself cams haha. I think that's all

I asked if where he got the fake beadlocks from, you responded saying they were real. I responded telling you why they were fake. I'm not trying to prove anything, I'm just letting you know that they are not real beadlocks. No need to flip out over nothing lol.

They are from wheel pros, but they will not work with the fuel hostages. Unless, you'd like to drill and thread 16 holes into each wheel.
