You can tune it you'll just have to calculate the port. They just want to sell you a whole new custom enclosure

Are you planning to build a completely new box? Or are you just planning on adding a port to your existing fox box...?


Also IBF, I meant to ask. Did you make any other modifications to your box besides the port? Aka, made it bigger? Because you'll be running under the recommended air space with that thing ported now, will you not?

The fox box is the optimal size to port but I'd have to completely destroy it to do it... I'm going to use those caps to increase the size of a new box

Nope they only require 0.65 per sub ported one of the main reasons I chose these RE SUBS 3.2 total sq ft

If it's .65 per sub, and that's what the box has, then the only way to make that box effective is to do an external port. Port space is not counted towards total air requirements of the sub. So if your port for the 1.3 ft^3 box is .3 ft^3, you are only left with 1 ft^3 for the subs, essentially .5 per sub and not the min requirement of .65. Hope that makes sense.

Yeah I was just on the website calculating... I need a 09-13 model with the flat floor
