for fastening fabric
this is with it on a jack, of course.
then rotate the driveshaft. if it takes roughly 4 turns to make the tire make 1 revolution, then it's a 4.10.
the gear ratios are input to 1 output, so 4.10 rotations of the driveshaft per rotation of the tire
i think this is how. im not some axle genius or nothin

@ Safetypin, thanks. While it was in the shop getting worked on friday I asked if they knew how to check. They did check and I am running 4.10 gears! Saves me from regearing even though I was going to go 4.56 probably.

Hey man,
Truck looks great...I had to check out your build after you mentioned Ft Lewis. I lived in Tacoma before moving east of the mountains. Just noticed your message about negative temps a while back... My moms place is in Republic, WA and most winters end up 10 below in January.
Wish i could afford a light bar and I'd say go for the 3" rear block. I have one along with a 2.5" level. I like a little rake. Im also interested in a couple of vinyls if your up for it...

Got any pics of your truck with the level/block? I have the level but want to see the block added on. Plus your tire size.
I love Tacoma but its pretty sketchy out there. I dont like going past Lakewood unless i have friends with me as crazy stuff happens out there. Especially around 6th ave.

I just have this pic on my phone, but I'll take a few more tomorrow. You can't see the rake all that well with the driveway slope; truck looks pretty level. I'm running 295/70-17 trail grapplers.
Parts of Spokane aren't much better then Tacoma, but I know the feeling. That area is going down hill pretty quick. I hear good stories from some family that live over there. We used to live on Roosevelt bout a half mile from Roosevelt elementary and I remember grabbing the shotgun quite a few times before getting out of there.

That would be great. I'll get a PM once I figure out what I'm looking for.

Anyways I snapped this pic for Memorial Day but its a bit late.
If anyone could do me a favor and edit it for me. Just something that makes it look fancy. I try all those editing apps and sometimes spend hours fooling around but I can never make it look good, I just make them look blurry/pixelated.

You're in Spokane now? Not far at all. I dont know anyone out here really. I only got here in December. Tacoma is decent I just need to stay away from 6th ave. Too many bad things happen over there. I just wish there was more offroading/mudding around here that was more for trucks. Everything around here is for jeeps.
There aren't many truck trails over here either for playing around. I usually head north into the Okanogan National Forrest. There are a ton of old skid trails and mud bogs.
