What did I get myself into?? After further inspection of my block I found a line/scratch going all the way up a cylinder wall.. I asked the machinist and he said it would be ok and that he didnt think i wanted to spend the money on boring and new pistons which he was right

HOWEVER....I couldn't sleep so I figured why stop spending now?? Got it bored

with new pistons, main caps and connecting rod bolts

Line is all gone

Crank and pistons installed... Clearance 0.0015 on mains and rods... Crank end play is .0003

Machine shop guy ordered non ford lifters and i dont have time to re order hopefully they are good..

Changed 4 broken exhaust studs while at it. Timing covers and exhaust manifolds on

Rubberized undercoating on the engine bay and tbe damn near everything under the truck..... Almost there
