I'd kill for some heat in the barn. 20 acres of woods, and I don't even have a wood burner.

Cathy and I reduced a bunch after 44 years each at work. Moved to a rental 1200 ft. upper with a single garage. Rely on the kids 15 acres, pole-barn and garage to work in, that way they pay the taxes! No grass cutting or snow removal, more time for traveling, camping, fishing, going to the races, and wrestling with the grandkids! KM

LOL, good going!! Taxes and truck parts and electric/phone is all I have to spend money on.
Grass??? I have about a half acre I might cut 3-4 times a year, and even have a little John Deere for that.
Oh, I guess there's food and beer too.
And my dog!!!!

Finally some sunshine and warm (almost 60), weather. Been sitting on Carr Super Hoop steps for a while. Wife is less than 5 ft. I'm 5 1/2. So us old folks sometime need a boost.

Spent more time figuring where to align them, finally using function over appearance. centered the step at the front edge of the seat. Good benefit, I can reach the middle of the windshield from the steps!
May spend more time massaging the wedges used, both went on passenger side but none for the driver side. May be able to eliminate them all together, will see.
Got a spring tune, oil change and plugs on the bench and stereo parts to put in. KM

Updates so far this year. Installed sound gear, problems with harness crossed wires and a dead subwoofer. Rewired the harness and warranty replaced the sub. Got it tuned and it sounds great.
Waiting on snow to arrive for installing winter tires, Nokian Hakkapeliitta LT2 Size 245-75-17. KM

Been dealing with "Poxes" all my life! You should see the dark clouds that follow me when camping. KM

Speaking of poxes this started as I was typing this,

Picture from 9:30 AM here and it's still falling and piling up some. Been decades since this much fell on Halloween! km

Got a few months on the Hakapellitta LT2's, and a few snowstorm-thaw cycles. Went skinny with the LT2's 245-75-17,

not much eye appeal, but are they sticky in freezing weather! Much better than the IPike's I had a few years ago on a AWD Freestyle. They are LT's and rated 6ply so 40 pounds went in and is riding good, initial turn in is good slushy grip is very good with a drawn out loss of traction when pushed, very predictable. Not quite to the ability of the AWD vehicles I owned and still have but a confident close for overall use in slop. My son has a very similar 2019 in 4WD may swap with him for some impressions, which I feel would be very good!
Picked up a CVF Titan inter-cooler and swapped into my ride, easy exchange but weather is too cool for any comparison results.
Just about where I want motor power wise, only other possible mods center on dowpipes and turbo adapters with no rush there. Will still focus on under-hood heat management, thinking silicone intake air piping with some insulation over the OEM plastics.Suspension has room yet, UCA's and upgrade to CDCV valving, possibly rear spring upgrade to softer more flexible rear end. Plenty of room for tire size upgrades but they need to fit and clear the trails I drive on, the current Nitto's do very well there.
A bit about sound systems. Done my share of amp-ed with dedicated sound positioning. Wanted simplicity so the small display Sync has worked well. It Plays USB thumb drives and syncs well with my Android cell phone combined with good FM reception it's all I wanted in a head unit. The Morel speakers while expensive sounded fantastic in the OEM system, but adding the active crossover-ed Key amp really made them sing! The tuning and timing of the sound-stage was done in the Key programing and plopped the stage right on top of the dash where it sounds most natural. Adding and tuning in an 8 inch sealed sub under the seat added the missing vibration impact. Without a console to work around and no more than a max 30 amp fuse draw wiring was all under the dash and simple. The factory power time out works fine and powers off the amps.
All this makes rolling down rutty Forest Service roads listening to Messer Chups, Clandonia, or Wagner for tunes a tremendous hoot!
