You had to ask!

Earlier, at first glance, I had assumed it was wrapped in clear plastic - you know, shipping Saran Wrap lol...

Now, upon closer inspection, I'd wisecrack (pardon the pun) that's Gold Bond; the kind you'd schprinkle down yer shortz! LOL.

Probably just body shop dust.

LOL....gold bond....priceless!...but you may be on to something.

It was wrapped in that paper thin Styrofoam, then a sheet of body paper, then that was wrapped with shrink wrap...and all of that was encased into cardboard. I'm guessing the powder is to prevent scratches in the paint during shipping.

Humm...painted front bumper....I keep wondering what a lifted Ruby Red Lariat would look like with 19up Limited dual exhaust bumpers?

LMAO...I was too, but as I told Jon, the painter I found only had max tow regular bumpers.....none with the dual cutouts. That plus I'm worried about the sound coming outta those duals.

Had another surprise when I got home this afternoon....rear bumper was at the front door. I'm pretty sure the FedEx dude was cussing me out 'cause that thing is HEAVY!!
Since it was shipped from the same people as the front bumper, I made a small collage to show the unpacking process. That way you can it from start to Gold Bond

The only thing that bugs me about the paintjob is that they didn't mask off the reciever, so I guess I'll have to paint that before installing. Unless.... I leave my frame mounted and just replace the two panels 🤔
Either way I now have an extra top plate incase I miscut when I decide to add F250 license plate lights.
We are supposed to get some rain/storms tonight, so I left it outside for the rain to wash off.
