gforrest: I have not check out bilsteins but I will, so much research to do before a mod, keep me informed of what your doing via this thread and so wil I since we are both kinda on the same page
@srh: thanks sir... I bought this truck for work and ended up being my daily driver, I like the simplicity of a base model, no fancy stuff wich I really don't need, I could use a 4wd and a little more hp but oh well I'll work whith what I have .
In respect to the mirrors they are fully manual( no wiring) I got me one for 100 bucks out of ebay and the driver side from Josh @ tasca.

a brief update: my tailgate ford emblem was fading and peeling so I bought an overlay out of ebay ( black with white letters)
I received my 2.5 front/1.5 rear autospring lift kit and I got a sweet deal on 18'' rockstars/nitto terra grapplers 285/65/18 ( waiting for tire package to ship)
out of curiousity... the front spacers were supposed to be 2.5'' of lift, now when I messured them they are 1'' and 3/4 ... I'm kinda confussed right now as I don't see how is going to be a 2.5 inch lift?
the rear blocks meassured 1.5inches, someone has an answer to why the front spacer is not 2.5 ?
i will post pictures of wheel/tires lift kit installed and ford emblem all together

I answer this question on your other thread, but I'll repeat it here.
The ratio of lift to spacer thickness is not one to one. Due to the design of the independent suspension of the truck, when you extend the strut by 1-1/4" (for 2" lift), 1-5/8" (for 2.5" lift) or 1-3/4” (for 3" lift) the angle of the strut becomes steeper allowing the truck to experience approximately 2", 2.5" or 3” of lift, respectively. It is the combination of extending the strut and the change in angle that gives the full lift. Once the kit is properly installed and you have the truck aligned, you will see the lift you expect. Remember that the installation is not complete until you have the truck aligned.

So far 2.5 autospring spacer and 1.5 autospring rear block, 285/65/18 xd rockstars.
More pics tomorrow when finished

it's been a hard week of work but finally managed to pull the whole job
front and rear autospring, full brake replacement, tires and wheels replacement and last but not least a much needed alignment, here attached is a picture of the tailgate emblem as promised, it does look a lot better than the faded blue color.
Next in line might be line-x bumpers or performance mods such as intake and cat-back.

scribbs^^ I can't really tell you because this is my first set of nittos but one thing I can tell you is that they look like quality tires and the terra grapplers are very quiet on the road.
