This is a great thread to read. You and goose are pretty darn adventurous. More "clink" than i have
I know this isn't goose's thread...but, in his case the mods are BETTER than factory. It's not merely adding options, it's improving the way options are installed.
The ability / opportunity to add the sound deadening material alone is attractive!!!
Keep up the posts please - I'm enjoying the read.

lol.. thanks but wouldn't say I have more "clink"....I'm just riding on the coattails of the greats like 2016BoostedGreyGoose, Livnitup, Ridgebacks, and numerous others for my 15 minutes of fame
That being said... Iv'e officially started my transformation to a floor shift truck (with Lariat Dash)
They are calling for a 50% chance of rain, and since I don't have a garage I bought this cover
here's the progress so far.... ok gotta get back to work

Getting there... had a few hang-ups & switching the wiring harness with the new one took the better part of the afternoon. But on the bright side take notice.... NO Column shift lever!
Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to button this project up

A long weekend of mods has come to an end. I now am the proud owner of one 2015 non-Sport floor shift XLT complete with Lariat dash

Thanks....I thought the new wiring harness and dash was going to be the death of me, but I'm completely satisfied with the end result

wait. what?
man, to be honest if I could convert my 2014 King Ranch to a column shift and have a factory cubby or something to put in place of my console shifter, I would be all over it. I know it's not exactly how most people feel about this, but I think Ram nailed it with the dial shifter because an automatic doesn't really need anything more than that, and what I've got takes up so much space. but, I know that's my opinion and my opinion is usually not the popular one haha. either way, very cool DIY. I love seeing what some of you guys have done with interchanging OEM parts on the 2015 trucks.
