Hey Guys and Gals figured id leave the "Original Build Thread" in the dead and start Fresh. This build is different too my 2013 FX4 but Similar. coming up on 2 years since I purchased a 2011 F150 XLT "XTR" SCrew 6.5ft bed in Sterling Grey with Ingot silver, Special Order with Bucket seats and Centre Console, I picked this beauty up for 17,000 Canadian with 40,000 miles
1 month into ownership i traded my built headlights off my 2013 on craigslist for a set of 275/70r18 Duratracs on stock wheels, than added a chrome jobbox than a week later came across a add for a catback Roush Exhaust and CAI for 75 bucks, Yes 75 bucks, had that installed, than added AVS seamless vent shades and ford factory Mudguards
Shortly afterwards took her into the decal/tint shop and added a limo tint brow, A custom tailgate decal/full Body Pinstipe as well as a access Low Pro Toolbox Tonneau
Fall/Winter Arrived and stock pile of parts happened and Spring 2017 Came along and big changes. First traded the duratracs for a set of 2010 Lariat Running Boards, Sold Stocks. Than Installed chrome capped Tow Mirrors, added a 1.5" Level too the front, Monroe Coilover rear shocks, 275/60r20 Procomp MT and 20" appearance Package wheels and a Westin Bull Bar. Sold the roush exhaust as it was too loud and annoying and police attractant
fall 2018 rolled around, Truck looked great right, well.... Got bored. Sold the Tool box and tool box tonneau cover, Found a Leer High rise model 122 topper in black, added that, put my stocks back on and sold the FX4 20's and put a plow on.
Now Flashforward too now, Currently have a brand new set of 275/70r18 Duratracs, a set of 18" WoRX 811U wheels, and new headlights awaiting for spring. I have 1 more mod id like too add and thats a heavy duty rear bumper.
Throwback Thurday too my dream truck/baby/FirstTruck 2013 FX4
I got a lot of flack for giving up my first truck/dream truck but 2 years later looking back best decision id made and became a home owner and now i have 2 houses and a Fiance. How does the Fiance fall into this, well shortly after i bought the truck met this girl a truck meet with a somewhat matching truck and next is history. My Girl has a 2013 XLT Sterling Grey with a 2" Level, 275/65r20 Michelin LTX AT2, Colour matched Bushwacker Flares and a Colour matched Fiberglass Tonneau
