I was running 315/70/17 KO2's, and reset the lie-o-meter for those tires. I was right up there close to 19 mpg on it. I found running around in town in Sport, I did very well, and went to normal drive out of town. I'm pretty easy on the gas, and with that tune, I could get up to reasonable speed without going into boost. I had that tune on a '12 5.0, and plan on it with this '20 5.0. I don't expect to get the gains like on a 3.5, that thing would turn those tires over in 3rd gear. Really had to watch myself.
If they weren’t almost the same price used with no warranty, I would. I also investigated getting mine opened and painted but the lights would be gone for two weeks.
