I bought a totaled 2014 FX2. It has 3500 miles and was wrecked on the front end pretty hard. I bought it from a auction so you really don't know what your getting into until it arrives at the house. I'll keep you guys posted. I've been following the forums for a while now deciding on mods I would like to do. Any comments suggestions are appreciated. Here's the truck on day of arrival. I've already removed all the radiators and hoses I front of the motor. This photo is about 9 hours into it.

Everything from the forward doors and behind looks to be in good shape. Looks like anything that was on the road was thrown in the bed.

Love these kind of rebuilds. How much did you pay for the truck?

Today we installed a new windshield. Sent off the air bag computer. Ordered the headlights. Fenders. Hoses and radiators that were damaged. We cut the left front frame fork off as well as the subframe. So far the frame seems to be straight which is a plus. We hooked up a battery and its throwing every code in the word which is to be expected. It actually has 4100 miles on it but that's no big deal. The interior is super clean. However, it looks as if whoever owned it prior to me tried to pry every panel with a screw driver.

Here's a list of things I'm wanting to do when I'm finished.
Led lights- all interior, exterior including puddle, reverse, fog and license plate lights.

Poly fill speaker

Antenna- I would like to get the short stubby.

Emblems- PTM black border with YZ white interior

Badges- I'm going to do black and white but I'm going to change the lettering a little bit.

Floor matts- remove the carpet mats and get some nice rubber ones. Any suggestions guys?

Paint wheel wells or get well guards from husky.

Paint the orange reflectors black.

Level it out.

Spray in bed liner from Xtream Bedliners

Tint windows.

Change fx2 stickers to all black and white.

Any other suggestions are welcomed.

Man that's an awesome price. Wish I had the skills to do this kind of work. Looking forward to the final outcome.
