just got an email, 6-8 week build time for the wheels. I don't think my tires have shipped yet so I'm gonna call on monday about switching that order. my hill descent control switch should be here today (this Amazon sunday delivery thing is strange) so I'm gonna install that later.

I also just remembered I've got a nice check from State Farm sitting here for a new topper. after more consideration I think I'm going to order a Softopper to use when I'm camping or whatever else I actually need it for, and I can just take it off when I don't need it. I like the look of the Leer but it's such a pain in the *** sometimes. plus a Softopper costs about 20% as much, so more money in the bank.

oh yeah and I ordered one of these too. haha.

yeah either way I think I'm gonna be out on the road when they come in. I just need to figure out how I'm going to explain them to the girlfriend lol.

I recently had to ask mine to watch how I spend on the truck here lately. Between my JKU rubicon I traded in after a month that I had wasted a metric ton of money on building beforehand as well, she knows I've wasted more cash that her last car cost lol

haha my fiancee doesn't bug me too much about it. she makes sure I remember to pay bills and that's about all I usually hear regarding money. either way I think I'm gonna need to take a break from the truck after I get the lift/wheels/tires squared away. I could've bought another winter beater or three for what I've sunk into this thing in the last year or so.

Same. Once my wheels are on, I'm done for a while.

Hostile thinks they're american force or something. They should be here this week. Sticking with the 305/55s since they have 100 miles on em lol

makes sense. I just realized I've got almost 18k on my R/Ts now so I ran out and measured them, they're still at 14/32" all around. it's gonna take me forever to kill these off.

well I pussed out today. I called CWO and changed my order to 22x10s. my truck sees a lot of miles as a DD and I just couldn't get excited about listening to rubbing every time I turn into a driveway. apparently AF is experiencing a "shortage of materials" so the 6-8 week build time may be legit which I guess kinda worked out for me because otherwise I may not have been able to change them. I did the math and these wheels are still gonna stick out about 2-1/4" further than my current ones.
