Default buster096 build thread

hey guys, so my truck list has been adding up so i thought i would start a build thread. here we go!
bought my truck christmas eve 2010. bone stock 2006 lariat scab 4x4 with 38k miles on it for $13000. it has the 5.4L flex engine, tan leather, shaker 500 audio system, and a bunch of other options.

first thing i did was get a new stereo. it is a JVC KW-AVX640
buster096 build thread-radio.jpg
next thing i did was save my money for what felt like forever(going to college full time and working full time really sucks!) and i got my lift kit! it is a fabtech 6in with bilsteins up front. also an AS 2in level and skyjacker 1.5in AAL.

then saved up for another large chunk of time and got my tires. they are 37x12.50R17 BFG KM2's.
buster096 build thread-tires.jpg
then saved up for yet another while and got my rims.(see a pattern here?) my rims are 17x9 -12mm backspace fuel hostage black and machined.

i forgot to mention that i go offroading pretty frequently when it wasnt lifted so the day after i got it lifted i headed to the offroad park. sorry no street queen here. after all that fun i got a new UWS tool cheat and bed mounted my high lift.
buster096 build thread-hilift.jpg
then i got the black out bug...the guys at home depot knew me as the plasti dip guy.

mid blackout i took a pic of my little toy in front of my big toy. its a buggy i built from the ground up using a yerf dog frame.
buster096 build thread-truck-buggy.jpg
so the gf was complaining about getting into the truck so i got some functional rock sliders that were steps too from ADD. welded them directly to the frame.

buster096 build thread-add1.jpg
then started putting in ebay blue leds in the interior, cargo lights and license plate lights.

Your truck is bas *****! When I first seen your thread when you put the lift and tires on it made me want to lift mine so bad. I settled for a level since I don't actually go off road lol
Anyway sick truck man

Looking to see if you have a link to those side vents? They are pretty cool, how easy is the install?
