Default brent_G Build Thread

Well I purchased the truck used, 2012 F150 5.0 XLT Supercrew.

Traded in my 06 Mustang and 05 honda pilot for it. Getting ready to move (army) and only need once vehicle and would rather move my own stuff than have the army do it or have to rent a uhaul truck and tow my car behind.

So dec 29th, 2012. bone stock.

It didnt have a hitch so i had the dealer through one in. So it has a hitch now.

Then yesterday. 08 jan 13, I got a custom exhaust made. Took out the resonator and the muffler and replaced the muffler with a magnaflow 18" offset in/out and put a decent looking tip on it to finish it. $239 out the door.
Turned out well. Little drone but ill upload a video here soon.

Heres the tip.

And on order right now... should all be here by the end of the week next week:
FX4 black housing headlights/taillights
SCT tuner with JON LUND custom tune
Autospring 2" leveling kit
Black nerf bars
20x9 XD addicts. +12 offset
33x12.5x20 Toyo Open country M/T's
TMPS
black lugs
Everything mounted and balanced. (thanks tread depot)

And the front needs tint. So that will be getting done tomorrow.

Ill update with pics as things happen.

got the windows tinted to match the fronts yesterday. Still waiting on all the parts to show up to start changing this truck into something less "work truck" like.

Thanks Caverun!

Today a couple parts came in.
Black side steps. I have them installed already. Just wanted to wait until day light to get a pic of them. Turned out well. They were just over 130 shipped from auto anything.

Then UPS showed up a little bit later and dropped off the black housing fx4 headlights and tailights.

Both the headlights and tailights got installed tonight too. Ill take a pic tomorrow.

BUT i have a concerned. Not sure what to do about it... The passenger side tailight wasnt put together correctly from the factory. And i dont have any ideas how to fix it. not sure if its worth trying to send back or not.. but heres the issue.

See the left side? it just needs to be popped in. But its sealed up...any ideas?
