Got called in to work a new launch job (I work in Engineering for an Automotive Supplier/which is why i touch your parts before you lol), and we are currently at a stand still waiting on parts from a molding facility (Thank goodness i am hourly lol).

So now my issue is i am cruising this site, soaking up the OT, and getting WAY too many bad ideas in my head as i look at members builds and calculate the OT cash coming in.

Thinking Mods... outside of lifts (the boss at home said no already), and any major engine tweaks (have extended warranty). What should i do?

I have been thinking about doing a 20" light bar in the lower valance, but having an ecoboost, i was curious if this would cause issues?

Also thinking about swapping out to a different upper and lower grille, but can't decide on which one to get. (All white FX4).

Start with the Forscan Mods

 

for the 09-14 trucks... I dont really like any of the aftermarket grilles. IMO, the FX4 package grill is probably the best looking grill. If youre thinking about doing the lower grill, the only clean looking option IMO is the boost bars lower grill.

 

I vote 40" lightbar behind the grille. Interferes minimally with radiator cooling and doesn't block your only airway to the intercooler. Amazon sells brackets for like 10 bucks that positions it perfectly for maximum output on the newer FX4 grilles.

 

Hey, that's funny, my boss lady said no to a lift too. She OK'd a level though (which I haven't done yet). Any chance yours would go for that?

Another cheap/easy mod is interior LEDs for dome lights. Huge upgrade. Also did third brake, license plate, and reverse light LEDs.

 

I purchased my F150 used, and the previous owner had already leveled it. I am looking into doing the LED light bar behind the grille, and doing some LED reverse bulbs, and eventually doing LED foglights as well.
