I paid $500 for my shell on the last truck. Hate that I bought a weird color lol

Lol. At least you didn't buy pearl white or lithium gray. Lithium you'll never find something pre painted, and pearl white would cost so much to get sprayed.

My silverado was pearl white lol. Pearl white and ruby red are similar process to paint since they're both 3 stage, so I bet it's the same

Ah, didn't realize ruby is a 3 stage... Lol. I looked at a ruby one online, it was actually in Dallas, 2015 sport, wouldn't come down off of like $47,000 for it. I told them they could keep it. Haha

honestly the factory paint is so crappy on mine. if I were to do it again I'd rather find a used one and pay a good body shop to match it correctly.
