Adrian's F150/Dirt Freeks "Prerunner Build"
So I figured I would do a full build thread this time around. I had little success trying to do them in the past on other forums etc. I own a 2004 Ford F150 standard cab. Long story short. I did a lot of work to the truck and made it into a nice street prerunner style truck. The truck was on the cover of Off-Road Magazine in December 2013. I liked the truck and it was fun, but it was ready to move it to the next level. This year I decided I was going to swap suspension to a better set up. I took my truck to the shop (Dirt Freeks Motorsports) where I was going to get this done. A week later I decided to do new fiberglass, a few days later decided to do new rear suspension and so on and so forth. Well the truck is a cab and frame right now while I was stock piling parts and selling off my old ones. (In the middle of all of this I actually ended up getting a job at Dirt Freeks Motorsports and currently work there)
Here are some photos of the truck through its first build/life progress before I tore her down.

Few more pics.
I will add some tear down pics this week.
Here are the future plans:
Front Suspension: Dirt Freeks "Prerunner Kit" Long Travel using King Offroad shocks 10" 2.5 coilovers
Rear Suspension: Dirt Freeks "Leaf Under Kit" Using Deaver leaf under springs and King 18" 3.0 3 Tube Bypass Shocks.
Body: Fiberwerx 09+ Conversion one piece fiberglass hood/fenders. 09+ conversion bedsides. 09+ Mirrors, 09+ grill, 09+ projector style headlights, 09+ led tail lights.(entire truck is going to be repainted when complete)
Wheel/Tire: 17" Method Race Wheels Double Standard/37" General Tire Red Letter Grabbers
Engine/Performance: v8 4.6 with Bullydog GT tuner, Nitro Gear and Axle 4:88 gears with Diff cover, Volant Cool Air Intake.
Fabrication All of this work is getting done at a full on metal fabrication shop. I got rid of my bed completely and will have a full tube bedcage to integrate shock mounts, bedside supports, spare tire etc. There will be a lot of miscellaneous things added along the way and I will be sure to include them all in here. All the suspension was designed and produced in house using some top notch parts. If anyone ever has any questions about my build feel free to comment in here or email me.
Thanks!!

Sub'd. Will be interesting to see your build. It's hard for me to see from the photos, is the rear axle stock width or did you swap it out?

Thanks guys! The first picture is the first peek I got of the new suspension that was being designed for my truck that got me wanting to upgrade! The start of all the madness. lol So here are a few pictures from the first few stages of operation "tear down/part out"
Took off and sold all of my old fiberglass, and factory hood and valance.
Took off and sold my old suspension and shocks, as well as my old leaf springs and shocks in the rear.
It was kind of crazy taking all this stuff off and seeing the truck start to look naked.
