I wanted to do this with mine but apparently there is something that remains hot all the time on that fuse, so you almost have to wire it to the ignition, unless you want to mess with putting a switch in.

Just wire your positive wire up to the positive wire on one of the door lights. Then run your negative to a ground. I wired mine into the ignition fuse (number 30 I think) and then to a switch. This way the lights can only be on when the truck is running but can still be turned on and off by a switch when the truck is on. But when it's off its impossible for the lights to come on

I just need to wire so it turns in with my door lights. So I tie it into fuse #30?

Just wire it to the ignition fuse. Then do like he said and add a switch. Or have them on all the time when the ignition is turned. It doesn't cause that much glare.

You still probably have the wire harness in your door for the door lights. If not then you could tie the wire into the dome light or cargo light. The cargo light would ve the 2nd easiest, door light would be the first

I don't want to take my door panel off to get to the switch and take the headliner off for dome light. I'm screwed then…

The door panel is extreamly easy to get off. All you have to do is pop off the intior trim that runs along the rear side of the window then take out the screw. Next pop off the trim around the handle (on the inside) and take out the screw. Then all you have to do is lift up on the panel and the hole thing comes off. If that makes you to unconfertable then you can always run a wire from your footwell lights up to your cargo light and splice it in there. Both ways will require you to remove interior trim so you can hide the wire, but the stuff goes back on real easily.

Put an LED strip in my tool box and wired it into the bed lights. Then also put some blue foot well lights I the back to match the front.
