Default 2021 xlt

I’m new to this platform and wanted to make this thread so I can keep track of mods I’ve done. And maybe get some insight on things I could do. Or have questions on. I got my truck May of 2021 and this is how we started.

Default Tints & rain guards

Started off strong with some tints and window visors

Did 20% on the front windows to match the rears. And the guy talked me down to 50% on the windshield. I still think I should have done 30%. And the quality of the tints aren’t the best. So I might retint in the future…

Fresh tints & rain guards
Here’s the truck with the rain guards I put on. I love the guards only thing I’m not the most fond of is that the driver side makes a whistle noise when cracked sometimes. Maybe need to check and make sure everything is secure. Forgot I added the 3” leveling kit at this point as well. I noticed the huge wheel well gap and knew it was time for wheels & tires.

Default Rear Brakes & Serpentine belt

Had to replace rear brakes & serpentine belt @ 36,000 miles. Has anyone else had this issue? The truck only tows very rarely. The rotors had some kind of black spots which the dealer said caused the rear pads to wear prematurely. My truck was squeeking, so I brought it to the delaer to make sure it wasn't a pulley. They confirmed it was the belt. They wanted $300 to install it. The belt was only $60, so I bought it to put it on myself. But I didn't realize on the new gen EcoBoost, they put the AC belt infront of the serpentine. So I had to cut the AC belt off & buy a new AC belt as well. So after I installed the serpentine belt, I tried to install the new AC belt as well. But it was so stiff I could not for the life of me get it on using the damper with zip ties. It snapped 3 zipties off. I assumed maybe it was because I was trying to install it in the cold. So currenlty waiting for the weather to warm up a little to give it another go.
